That particular part of the Cliffside Fractal is quite annoying if the group wipes considering that adds upon adds spawn on top of each other; and if the seal on the Colossus’ right arm is the shielded one, it becomes a hassle to bumrush through the adds, through the tunnel, and to the vulnerable left arm seal so that you can return back for a second attempt.
In short, I agree all those adds should despawn and the right-arm seal should be unshielded like it was in the beginning if the party ends up wiping. That way, it’s much easier to start from scratch if there’s too much of a mess that has been made.

I thought this was the entire concept behind checkpoints – the fact that it’s left in the state it was before a wipe is just silly in any situation, IMO.

Arms seals are so easy if your group uses the proper strategy like you mentioned. Half the battle is communicating to your pug how to do it so you don’t fail the first time. But yes, resetting completely would help when you get those people who can’t follow directions and are terrible.

Totaly agree. If ONE of your party members cant do something as simple as DON’T KILL THE 4ยบ GUY i dont understand why we need to make this fase a lot more dificult in the next tries, AND with at least one player that will never coordinate with the group…
EDIT: i just see the video. A must see to all pugers that don’t know how to pass this part in higher fotm levels.
