Cliffside - Level 20+, how?
Save your endurance for the white flash and not the pull in that he does before it. You can also use line of sight.

We try to do this. Sometimes the only option for avoiding a red circle is to dodge. Also, we have all noticed that sometimes he does not do the pull before flashing, or that sometimes he flashes so quickly after the pull that you are still in the “stunned” state and cannot dodge. We also have tried to LoS the boss but as he still attempts to close to melee distance usually only 1 or 2 ppl can LoS him. Also, since he reflects projectiles about 50% of the time in this phase it means your DPS is going to be very low. I also think that the penalty for failing to dodge one VERY FAST attack is far too severe in this case.
For the white flash, keep an eye out for the buff on the boss that looks like protection (can’t remember the name, i think its cultist something). Once you see it, dodge immediately as it is tell for the white flash. Timing is tight but its doable.
If you’re in a pug, you are pretty much universally going to save yourself time going back to lab.
Yes, even if it’s the third fractal.
You need at least one person to stay alive during that phase so that he will rez everyone when the boss is stun at 50% hp. Your best bet is having agony resist, having swiftness to run out of the circles and saving your dodge for the ligh aoe. Having energy sigil/vigor boon can help a lot too. Once that phase is over, it’s pretty much done as the other phases are much easier.
My team was able to get past this one after a bunch of wipes the other night. What finally worked for us was having our rogue shadow refuge the team after hitting the seal with the hammer. The boss deaggro’d and we were able to pull/clear the room without respawns before reengaging. Also, the seal does not reset to full hp unless your team wipes and does retry from checkpoint. Other than that, phase 2 with the white flashes is the hardest thing, but I just tanked the diviner far away from the group. Here I can see how this could get nasty on higher difficulty, but I have 30 agony resist and we were just doing the lvl 20 daily. If you can get past the white flashes, the remaining phases are way easier – just use the shadow refuge to deaggro clear after each seal hit.

The only way I was able to do this was with a full heavy party and even then it was still a very close call.
Its pretty frustrating since I only have 3 hours to play per day, I’ve rolled cliffside for the last 3 days and none of those parties have been able to do it, its 3 days where I couldn’t even get a chance at a ring.
This fractal is ridicously harder than all the other level 20s: having to fight him on such a small room make it impossible to avoid all the agony during phase 2, this on a level where players are only able to get 10-15 agony resist total, its simply not enough. This event seems tuned for a team on full 30 agony resist.
apparently the seal can still be killed by player skills/attacks after the hammer is first dropped. however, not so easy with all the mobs around it. saw it for the first time today and it was a necro who knew it and killed the seal. took forever to kill it though. apparently the skill he used didnt take much damage and was the best way to destroy the seal from distance without agro the mobs.
the only reason people have 0-15 AR is because they want infused rings to soulbind, and not waste rings, tokens and money to buy whats needed to get infused rings with max AR. Quite understandable if you ask me. + I happen to be one of those with 15 AR. works pretty well with exception of cliff and vulcano.

Did it a few times at 30+. After phase 1 get out of the room as fast as possible and make sure at least 1 person that is able to ress the other will survive, if possible a thief with all stealth skills + some spy kits.
The Boss+Seal only resets if the entire party is dead.
If you are safe, clean all the mobs before hitting the boss, but watch out – his aggro range is rather high. Kill it in the seal room (more place to dodge fields and to kite away).
He does his light shortly after the pull, a protection like buff will pop up (important to know if you ress and cant watch the boss except his HP bar) so you should almost insta dodge if you see it. With my current traits it isnt a prob to dodge the pull + the light and still beeing able to dodge some fields if neccesary.
A general tip: dodging becomes more important at higher lvls due to the current AR cap, so make sure you got something in your traits/skills that allows you to dodge more often.
Oh and btw theres a min dmg of 1% per agony tick disregarding how many AR you got. Max is reached for:
lv10+: 10 AR
lv20+: 25 AR
lv30+: probably 40 AR (with 30 you get the dmg you got at at 10+ with 0 AR)
lv40+: if it follows the other lvls, its 55 AR
