Hey guys, I wanted to doing a quick post in challenging how much can be made within an 8 hour time frame of CoF farming. Mind you I am pulling this from a quote on quote guild mates words. We were discussing farming and he had mentioned that he had made 121 gold within a 3 day time-frame.

Now I am looking to challenge this “speculation” of farming if you will. Given the proper grounds I see how it may be accomplished by switching off characters. But would really love some feed on this topic, I would really like to dove into “how much an be made in CoF within a day’s time”

But a… Yeah just give me some feed, would really love to hear back from the community on this subject. Thanks!

You can make 600 gold in one run if you get a precursor. It’s really about how lucky you get. If you get a lodestone every run you more than double your profits but it isn’t realistic. Realistically with a solid team getting average drops you’ll make 6, maybe 7 gold per hour. I usually get pretty garbage drops so I make around 5. If you farm for 3 days, 8 hours a day not counting breaks that’s around 120g there on average. The most I’ve farmed in one day of CoF was around 45g, farming pretty much all day and taking breaks in between. 121g in 3 days of farming is definitely realistic for a hardcore player without a job/school or anyone/anything to answer to. Sorry to say but you might have to admit you were wrong on this one. Also none of that farming includes switching characters at all. The tricky part really is finding a solid team that will go for such a length, seeing as pugging for 8+ hours will drive any rational man insane.

Well if you are saying that 8 hours is a day, meaning you are playing for 8 hours. Then i think you definitely can get 121 gold in three days of 8 hours a day. Look at it like this 3 days at 8 hours a day is 24 hours so divide 121 gold by 24 and you get about 5 gold per hour. if all you are doing is cof the you only need to do 12 minute runs and you will get this. and that is just from the gold from bosses and drops. you also have all of the tokens that you could use to get ectos or toss in the mystic toilet for maybe a precursor.

my best record within 24 hours is near 100g , with 10hours farm , 4 hours nap , then continue with 10 hours. of course i have meal break within the period.
