Eh no, im not. You just simply jump on the ground in the place and simply go to the other side. After that, you destroy flame, back to kite room, complete it, and you can open chest 2 times at the end.

I’m no stranger to the wall jumping, however when I managed to get over the wall, the destroy the eternal flame event did not trigger, no acolytes spawned. The flame was killable, I killed it, however no chest spawned. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that I did not touch a single other event in the entire dungeon. Zoned in, ran straight there, and he didn’t trigger. (He would before the update btw) Perhaps it’s different when you actually progress up to that point with magg, I’ll do some other testing later.
I will post screenshots in this post, just need to edit the names of my party members.
But i repeat – it’s still possible to get 2x loot from the last chest. It’s different way than before, but it’s possible.
And last, after destroying flame and completing kite/boom room. Did not have proof here of 2x loot though.. But don’t wanna do it any more times. 1st time gave 60 tokens, 2nd 20 + i did 2nd run only to get screenshots.

I’ve never shown pugs anything that I have done, I’ve explored all over CoF in explorable mode. Finding hidden rooms, figuring out how the dungeon works, etc etc. Was pretty fun really Then pugs figured it out eventually.

Anyway, dont’ believe – your problem. I sent ticket regarding this to Anet with the exact same screens made TODAY at 11:27, 11:47, 11:57 GMT+2 (cause i live in Poland and now we have summer time). See at time when i made screenshots, and when i added posts – i was posting here during 2nd run.
Then pugs figured it out eventually.
