CoF Nerf?
I’ve heard a few things from people in-game that a CoF nerf is coming – but haven’t seen anything official.
Has anything official been communicated about this?

People love to spread rumors. We likely will not see anything until at least as early as the end of the weekend.

They usually do. Last month we had the update notes the weekend before. That will likely be the earliest we will see it if they choose to release them. Otherwise we’ll have to wait until Tuesday.

You’re pretty naive if you think they are happy with the state of CoF P1 and wouldn’t want to change it. The question is, where does it fit in their priorities, not if it will be altered in any way.
If you are looking for confirmation of whether or not the devs have said anything official about doing anything to CoF path one in the next patch, as far as I’m aware, they have not. If you think it’s likely they are going to leave it as is, well that’s another story.
I agree with you Shiren – I’m sure they’re not happy with CoF P1, but I was more wondering if they’ve made any mention of it, and indicated how high on their priority list it might be – ie. if we’ll be seeing a change in an upcoming patch.
From the sounds of it, nothing has been said, but I guess we’ll have to see just how high on their list it is in the next couple of patches.

“revamp would be neat” =/= “Yes, we are actively working on updating CoF”
I definitely think CoF will be updated… but when? No clue.

It’ll get revamped, there’s no question about that. Some sort of arbitrary mechanic will be introduced to do nothing but slow you down. The Devs hate the players, so if there’s something players enjoy, you can count on it being patched out.
