I kept on seeing on gw2lfg for CoF P2 skippers needed … I don’t really get why people would want to skip an entire part of easy fight. And these people say that is an exploit and still do it. I am new to GW2. Does the game have any anti-exploit policy or is it allowed?

Report options are all about scamming, botting, etc. But it doesn’t give the option to select exploits. Hope to get an answer from senior gamers and also any GM lurking around…

P.S. Please don’t say, if you don’t like to get another game or find groups who doesn’t exploit. I am talking about the ethics here. Happy raging ….

There is an anti-exploit policy. Exploits should be emailed to exploits@arena.net

A dungeon developer said he did not want to remove the leash mechanism from mobs to prevent this. This implies that skipping mobs by running past them is not considered an exploit by ANet, and that this tactic is a choice players may make. The devs may be reviewing ways to make killing the mobs more enticing (i.e., lucrative) going forward, but no one knows if or when this will take place.

As far as we all knew it, the only bannable expolits are exploits tat disrupted the economy or yields unfair monetary advantage. Thing is, tat cof2 skipping revolves much around fast tokens but at the cost of skipping loots and chest which means you lose more monies actually

I remembered a friend who had someone parked in front of his driveway. The pizza guy couldn’t come in so they told him to pick up the pizza himself. He got real mad and smeared… stuff on that car’s windscreen.

I was in a group that did the jump over the gate once…

They all swore it was faster to do it this way and that it had to be done because you could get in another zillion runs before you could open the gate the normal way…

After 15 minutes of watching these ‘pros’ fail over and over and over again to make zomgwtfbbqkitty only way to do the dungeon jump I couldn’t take it anymore and left
