please stop making a fool of yourselves by making threads “XX dungeon/path is impossible” when others are doing it.

You have good points that are hidden by the fact that people loose respect on those that cry impossible.

I don’t agree on the “defend” challenge since I find it just that, challenging. People can’t just go into a dungeon with the “zomg Im full deepzors look at me kitten with my pew pew”. If you are dying to an encounter with limited mobs per wave and no other restriction (npc health, time, etc) then you need to out live the mobs. Get Th and Vit.

On the Torches I do agree. Super simple when in a team with full voice communication but extremely challenging with just 1 person outside of that loop. GW2 Does NOT provide, nor require a voice program and encounters should not escalate in difficulty so astronomically based on having, or not, a voice program to support the run. one shotted it every time with a group in Mumble but on our first time had to replace 3 pugs before getting a guildy. Everyone now refuses to do unless in a full guild group… and we love that route.

Path 3 is easier than path 1…
The only hard part are torches to be honest. But still doable with random people that know how to use their brains. For example, i did this with 2 guild mates and 2 randoms, and we were not using voice communication. However this took us like 3 tries, cause some people were killing imps too fast/too slow though.

What Massacrul said, I was in his group. We had one person explaining the tactics, each taking their spot. Then simply by someone saying GO meant we should start killing. then when killing the 3 mobs we said clear when our part was done.

When 5 ppl said clear someone simply counted to 3 and we activated the torches. Very easy

How we did the torches:
- everyone clear everything except one monsters (prevents respawn)
- leader says go: all go in → everyone says “c” when cleared
- then either all light when all “c” or leader says “light”

Sure, it is annoying when you have someone braindead. But most likely they can’t do much in combat, either.
