Has anyone else noticed Magg getting bugged and refusing to progress since the patch? Over the past couple of nights, I’ve had Magg refuse to progress events at various points in CoF p2.

A couple nights ago it happened at the first devourer nest. He would run around, but wouldn’t trigger the event. We had to restart the dungeon and then it went smoothly the rest of the run.

Last night Magg flipped out in the magma field. Right by the last fire field, in the middle of the path, he just stopped moving. In other nights I’ve seen him randomly despawn, too.

Might it have to do with being stuck in what the game considers a combat mode? I’ve noticed too since the last patch, even if no one is in combat, the game considers us in combat mode sometimes and won’t let us waypoint around.

I encountered the first devourer nest glitch once. If I had to make a guess to what caused it, I would say it is advancing too quickly after killing the 3 flamethrower guys at the start.

Magg across the lava field has always been a little buggy of sorts. That’s the reason sometimes its better to split the party up and have 1 person solo the lava field. If I cross the lava field and still get stuck in combat, I will relog to get out of combat.

There is a thread around here that mentioned that if the NPC is in combat, the party is considered to be in combat mode and can’t wp.

i usually only hear about these kinda bugs when screwing around with skipping stuff and triggering cutscenes most the time or triggering a 2nd cutscene while a player is still watching a previous cutscene. never had any other issues, i love what they have done with the lava field where if he dies he just teleports next to you… so much better than before.

For me, the devourer nest glitch happens right after the 3 flamethrower guys are killed (no skipping of this fight) with no cutscenes initiated.

Yeah no skipping or cutscenes were involved when I encountered the glitch. I’m thinking the WP change may have something to do with it, but I’ll have to try to see if I can recreate it.

This happened pre patch. Its only happened to me once, but it was at least a month ago @ the devourer nest part where he says “They’ve been feeding prisioners to devourer’s” then…nothing…..exit dungeon

Another bug which im not sure if its been fixed is sometimes if you fail the bomb event, Magg will get stuck in the wall from the explosion, and you are no longer able to hand him in the bombs, hence you must start the run over entirely.

that’s the bit where you kill em and pull the chain yeh? never had that happen once pre or post-patch, not sure what else can cause npc’s to bug out like that.

Its right after the initial 3 silver Godforged are killed, Magg goes into the first cell to search, he should go inside and spawn the devourer mound, with about 5 silver devouerer add’s. However, after saying his little “Weve…..” he just stops, follows people and wont start the event.

The chain pulling is after the 8 or so mounds up the hill, after you killed the 3 silver Godforged before Prision Warden which as far as I know, has never glitched. So not this.
