Are the Cof speed runs considered an exploit?
I don’t want to end up getting perma banned just because every party I join wants to jump over the door. :\

Hardly. It is just another jumping puzzle. Game is full of them.

ummmmm lets see jumping over a wall….bugging the instance so you can get more than one chest per event….skipping content that is THERE FOR YOU TO COMPLETE….mmmnnnnaaaaa your ok keep jumping and let me know how it goes after the banhammer hits

The quest objective does say “Find a way” and the game is full of jumping puzzles so I would say there is no valid ground for this to be bannable but if you do the double chest exploit then that is another story..

now what happenes when your party does it after telling you they are doing a legit run? i dont really want to leave after i worked hard to get to the boss room… but i dont wat to cheat either. so right now i sitting in a different room and not jumping the wall

So far I’ve only done it twice.
On the first run I had no idea what was going on so I just did what my party told me to do, But on the second run it just felt… wrong.

I guess I’ll just avoid CoF until they nerf it. Better safe than sorry.

Saying jumping puzzles are in the game so therefore you have an excuse to exploit a bug is ridiculous.

you made my day… i love how ppl look for lame excuses. ITS AN EXPLOIT and if you are jumping you should be banned. the content is there for you to complete not for you to find a way to skip it because you cant do it

Jumping to get over the wall does seem to be like other jumping puzzles I have done so I don’t feel as if it really is an “exploit” but rather it was that the dungeon dev team put in an extra way to do it or something. I feel as if they wanted no way to get past the door by jumping on things, they would have just put up an invisible barrier. However I feel that the double chest thing is an exploit because I doubt that they mean for that to happen.
