I understand, I would too. I enjoy the lesser run paths as well, despite the poorer rewards. What I mean is the manner, the thing that, in part, elicits a smile in other mmo gamers when they look at our dungeons.

Again, these dungeons are 2 years old. How faceroll were the vanilla wow dungeons two years in? I’m sure there was a time when those vanilla dungeon were challenging and took long time to complete. But after two years, even the hardest content goes on farm.

The dungeons in this game are easy because we solved it. We know the best gear, the best builds and the best tactics for all the dungeon paths. If people from other games watch speedruns now and think how easy the dungeons are they are deluding themselves. Go back and watch people run arah in September 2012 and we can discuss how easy it was. Videos exist from then that will show you exactly how non-trivial they were even for “good” players. I assure you if I watched a vanilla wow 5 man dungeon speedrun two years after launch I would note how “easy it is.”

I understand. And I’m certainly no skill King. I doubt I could face roll anything in arah, despite being two years in. In fact, this player no longer exists. I am merely his continued voice (and the fool still playing.) But there is an unavoidable ugliness to our dungeons. Something that stays even the most earnest attempts to view a gw2 video, or twitch channel. I’ve accepted our inferiority to WoW in the instanced arena. But it upsets me, particularly in light of the good in this game. There is likely no recovery.

Either way, dungeons could be much better. They could have more mechanics and elements to encourage using not so often used skills / tactics. Just a matter of encounter design.

I smell … casuals!
As some smart guys already mentioned “start your own groups“ !
We see such posts here every now and then.
Some people do simply enjoy finishing content fast, get over that please!
Also do i think that most of the people saying “rotations are so easy“ would actually fail them.

With a start like this it’s hard to take you seriously, but i’ll bite it.

I’d like he was wrong.

Unfortunately for some reason (don t ask me why) i hate to open LFG and i prefer to join (War/ele/mesmer so its not like i have an unwanted profession..).

When you find that except the TOP 2 easy rewarding dungeons (AC and COF) 99% LFG are sellers and you have to wait hours to see an actual real run in fractal 30-50 or CM or CoE (not to mention ARAH)…

Seems dungeon population dropped easily by 90% lately.

P.S: they have to add 3 things:

Real rewards (new skins not the grind for useless number we have in collections)
AI
PvE balance (PvP ruined it too much most effective pve build are so unfun that is only farming).

I run most dungeons and fractals with all guild groups… we only post in LFG when we absolutely have to and even then it’s usually just to fill one spot. I would think most people are in the same boat which would explain why there aren’t a lot of LFG posts.. just my thoughts, maybe I’m wrong.

I logged in because I want to know if this is like a sincere post or just another troll for funsies post.
