My problem is that ascended accessories are really hard to get with assassin’s stats, so I gathered magnetite shards to buy them in raid. I bought my first, and it was ok, but now as I bought my second one, it seems that I bought the wrong one because I can’t select the stats that I want.
I think some sort of labeling would be good to know what you can select before you buy it, so noone else would have to experience this bitter feeling.

Yeah you have to be careful when selecting those. I checked like 5 times on the wiki while standing in front of the vendor to make sure I didn’t screw up buying my Viper’s trinkets lol. And yeah it would be nice if you could see the available stat combos or something before purchasing, at least for trinkets and backpacks.

I would recommend sending a support ticket in, there’s a decent chance they will tell you to delete the wrong one and refund your magnetite.

Also in case you don’t know, you can get ascended assassin’s accessories from the dungeon collections for arah and CM. They don’t actually take very long if you play pvp (or wvw now!) and do the dungeons daily, especially with the recent changes to dungeon rewards.

ANet will definitely correct this with a support ticket, yes. Open one up with them and they’ll take handle it for you.

I think they could solve this by either making them all stat selectable, or just clarifying the names / adding flavor text that actually makes them identifiable.

Yes, I know I could get them from the dungeons, but that’s just too much compared to 250 magnetite shards, which you can get in two weeks, only just by defeating the bosses, and I don’t play WvW, neither PvP.
