Guild Wars 2

I have a friend who is on another server. He switched from mine so he could be with an old guild. I stayed because I had started up a guild a few other friends. The guild I helped start is fairly casual, whereas my friend who switched joined more of a dungeon running guild.

I can get through Story modes fairly easy with pugs or running with guildmates, but when I want to do explore, I want to run with my friend who switched servers. I tried to do this last night, but was unable to. I was the only one off server, and the rest was full of my friend and his guildmates. When the group completed and somebody entered, I got the message telling me, “Join group in dungeon?” When I clicked “enter”, the box went away and then nothing else happened. I thought it strange, so I tried walking through the portal. This time, it started a completely new instance for me when clicking “enter explorable”. Everyone exited, and we tried again. Same thing happened at first. Though, this time when I tried to walk in, it said again “Join group in dungeon?” Clicked “enter” did nothing.

Can cross server runs no longer happen? Or was this just a massive bug?

I couldnt enter the Arah Dungeon Earlier with my party.

2x Desolation players
3x Gandara players

We decided to switch over to HoTW and we were able to enter.

Its probably a bug.

i’ve experienced the same issue invited 1 odd person from a different server. that person has never been able to zone into the same instance as us and has always been booted because of it. its a bug for sure. im sure it will get worked out
