Im only seeing 1 DnT record on the Guild Leaderboard, colesy, while we have 2. And DnT has been around a lot longer than DD has (19 months v. 1 month). Just saying.

We don’t see the point in doing records unless there’s a major innovation we can do to shave a large amount of time off. Doing identical strategies while just getting slightly better execution/RNG is just splitting hairs and not worth the frustration. Something like rT pulling the Ooze to the not-coral, popping stability and melting it is something that’s actually innovative since the coral is basically the go-to tactic for Arah p1 since forever and they broke that trend with their record.

So maybe try a dungeon where you can’t just 4 in to walls for 5/6 of the boss mobs? I’m surprised you didn’t get a thief to scorpion wire Nokk in to a wall and then 4 it to death.

Something like Arah maybe, where you need better reflexes than clicking your endurance bar.

Colesy doesn’t speak for the guild. While individuals may look at FGSing everything negatively since it lowers the skill cap of the game the official position of the guild is “do whatever you have to do within the rules to get the best time, no carebear mentality.”

DnT isn’t concerned with how many records we have or the leaderboard. DnT is well aware of our skill level (and not threatened by others’ pretentions) and we are well aware that we could break whatever record on the leaderboard we apply ourselves to breaking if that was our goal. The reason we do not is a. we only care to do new records when there is a real innovation over the previous records (new builds, new strats etc) that allow for a major improvement rather than incremental and b. when done properly a record run takes significant amount of time and energy and it simply isn’t what most people want to do with their free time unless we can do something innovative and awesome.

tldr; we don’t want to beat current records by seconds, we want to beat them by minutes.

1. rT ice bow 5-ed the ooze and rushed it. that makes it even more impressive since deep freeze is a really underrated CC imo. also, they had no choice but to fight ooze off the coral since it was an unrestricted run.

2. no need to be bitter about people stacking eles in record runs, it’s gonna be the fastest and most efficient way to run most dungeons until FGS is nerfed anyway.

3. it’s not as if doing an arah record requires that much personal player skill and reflexes, since lupi dies so fast and most runs have stealth anyway.

Kind of same thing with lupi solos for me. Just stack on him and gg.
