I think this would be a fun, relatively short Fractal.

The dungeon is just a long hallway. Deadeye Dunwell is the boss. Just like the Queen’s Gauntlet fight, the hallway is filled with Agony-inflicting mines that you have to navigate while you run down the corridor. Respawning Dominated Deadeyes line the sides of the hallway, so you have to run down the hallway while avoiding Dominated Deadeye OHKO shots and Deadeye Dunwell’s attacks, which inflict the Dead Eyed Stare effect (Simin’s petrify). To unpetrify an ally, players need to kill a Deadeye for a tear. The party also needs throw a tear to remove Dunwell’s invul, after which they have 30 seconds to DPS him down before he teleports back to the beginning of the hallway and begins to regenerate. To make it more interesting, the Deadeyes spawn constantly, so they increase in number the longer the party takes to kill Dunwell.

It’d be more fun than that Abaddon bullkitten people were pushing, at the very least..

Sounds pretty awful.

Can the deadeye projectiles be reflected or will they be unblockable?

This is exactly what the last skip in Arah P2 is, with channeled stuns thrown in the mix.

Since he referenced the Undead ones, I imagine he wants the ones from P2. So only way to avoid them is evading or invulnerability.

This sounds like it would be quite a fun dungeon encounter, but I think I’d cry if it was a fractal^^

I thought the deadeyes were p4? I only actually ran Arah a couple of times and that was months ago. I remember finding the corridor quite easy, though I had to escort my entire team across 1 by 1 because they couldn’t do it themselves.

If this became a fractal it would just be one that most people skipped.

Deadeyes are path 2^^. The final skip is where the boat is, and the last corner has like 2 technicians and 2 Deadeyes sitting in it, combined with a line of Deadeyes/technicians before that. You can easily just ‘cheese’ it with Stealth or invuln, but it’s a lot more difficult without it due to the nature of 1 hit kills + perma stuns if you don’t have stability or block.

I imagine the combination of trash during skips is the main reason why pugs don’t do P2, instead of P3. Technicians, Sentinels, Deadeyes. Takes some practice to get used to running through those without stealth.

Deadeyes are very easily avoided by simply rolling. The technicians are only hard if you don’t have stability, i.e. as engineer.

In general, there’s no reason to think a hallway full of Deadeyes would be that hard. It’d be a fun fractal that would be relatively short so long as your party isn’t terribad and has average DPS.

Elixir S breaks stun and gives invul, it’s toolkit skill gives you either stealth or stability.
Elixir X give you either the Ele or Warrior elite form which gives stability.

Every class has access to stab except thief who can just stealth past.
Necromancers are expected to be zerker whom by extension are expected to have 30 Soul Reaping and thus can access the 3s stab on Death Shroud trait and stab from Plague or Lich.

Every prof can run through mobs if you’re trying hard enough.

Quasi-elitist dungeoneer and missing Gw1 GvGs greatly.
