Defiant Stance and Lupi phase 2
Defiant Stance reduces damage you take to zero, but does not stop secondary effects of skills such as life steal.

That’s too bad.
Anyone pro-soloers use this heal for Lupi?
You don’t really need a heal for the fight itself, but Defiant Stance can ensure you don’t get caught with skills on cooldown in phase 2 to phase 3 transition.. it can also cover your approach back to Lupi if he teleports to Yissa.
Warrior doesn’t really need anything. This heal would be really useful for ele for when they get RNG’d on phase2>3 transition but warrior can tank them without it mattering unless you get hit by more than 3.
But, life suck only happens on phase 3 not phase 2. :x
If this heal prevented secondary effects it’d be wonderful but unfortunately it’s pretty bad for Lupicus due to the problem of not being able to let Lupi hit you at all in phase 3.
i goofed around with defiant stance on lupicus a while ago and you honestly don’t really gain anything from it if you’re using proper rotations, even in phase 3. like for his aoe life drain you can whirlwind in to him, dodge out, switch to axe/sword, riposte the next two ticks, go back in with axe 2 + sw4, back to gs and you don’t even lose too much damage compared to if you were to just dodge + whirlwind out in which case you’d be doing no damage for a good few seconds.
or if you take phase two AOE for example, you can double dodge through him or dodge + ww through him as well and carry on doing your regular rotation (unless you get dumped by rng projectiles immediately afterwards).
if it didn’t have a cast time it would honestly have some use, but it does so you would have to interrupt something to get value out of it.
