Hello, I’ve been trying to farm up 390 Ascalonian Tears for one of the weapons from the merchant in Lion’s Arch. Yesterday, I ran all 3 paths in explorer mode and got 180 Ascalonian Tears. Today, I ran two and got 40. What the hell? Does the DR timer ever reset? Can I wait a few days and get another 180, or will I constantly get kittenty rewards and give up on dungeon sets?

The 60 token reward DR resets each day at server reset. It’s also character bound, so you could switch an alt in after killing the last boss and have some friends wait in the ending cutscene. Since AC is in a starting zone, you could theoretically make alts over and over and swap them in at the end of path 1 or something until you have enough tokens, but some people view strategies like that as “cheap” or unethical, but they should each get 60 tokens unless I’m mistaken for some reason.

What that means is you did 3 runs yesterday after 8PM EST and 2 runs today before 8PM.

normal dungeon token reward for path completion is 20. +40 is daily bonus – for each path
