I reallllly hope I’m not shooting myself in the foot here, but devs are you guys aware that in Detha’s path of AC right after the trap event on the way to the cannon room there are two gold mobs that drop 5s a piece 100% of the time? And that the boss drops 15s 100% of the time? With the Omnomberry buff that’s 7+7+21+26 (end reward) = 61s for this run, not including vendorable greens for 1-2s a piece.
Yet, you don’t see the same pattern in any other dungeons? Personally I think the champ gold drops are fair and balanced, it encourages not skipping them, but I’d like to see this implemented in all the other paths of all the other dungeons which would be nice for 2 reasons:
1. To offset repair costs, even if you run things poorly.
2. To add that extra reward for no-wipe runs.
So devs, would you consider either buffing this across all dungeons or nerfing this specific one. Obviously I strongly urge you to consider the former, but it’d be nice to have a bit of resolution on this issue.
Also, using CoE as an example, putting a little silver as reward for the first 2 Alpha fights, and then say 15s for finally offing him, would be a great way to motivate people to struggle through it their first time (And help me finish my CoE gear xD)
The dude that drops 5 silver also exists in the first path of AC. Are you sure there are 2 on the second path? I only seem to have found one haha might have to hunt down the other one if you can point it out to me.
hotfix to nerf this incoming. there, now they don’t have to evaluate reward parity since they truly all suck now.
If it’s not intended it should be – and it should be implemented throughout the game. Virtually everyone ignores veterans and champions in the world if they are not associated with an event because there’s no reward for killing them. People want to skip your bosses in dungeons because they’re pure time wasters from a reward perspective. Just putting a middling amount of silver on veteran, champion, and legendary mobs makes people want to hunt down and kill those mobs.
My regular group has hammered out all 3 paths of AC to the point of boredom simply because of the silver rewards for killing the champions and legendaries make it by far the most rewarding dungeon in the game. Other dungeons should be brought up to its level.
It’s cool as is.
This is why I run AC all 3 paths a day.

When you pass the main room and head east you then go south to the flooded temple (with the spider pop ups) instead look north, there is a group of gravelings with a champion. He drops the money. When you finish the spike trap bit, head back to where you kill him and keep going north, there are stairs and a path leading to the next champion who drops money. Kill him, take the stairs on the left, kill the ooze, enter the boss room.
There are also 2 of them in the Colossus rumblus path (same one in the room before the lovers, and then one in the tunnels IIRC)
Only 1 in howling king AFAIK.
