I just read the patch note and saw that they limit the experience and gold that you can earn from dungeon.

I also heard rumour that they limit the token you can earn from explorable mode as well…

Does anyone know anything about this?

there is come kind of limit in story mode aswell. the 1. run CM i got 24k exp much less then yesterday and the 2. run i only got 11k. its totaly waste of time atm, and its was much harder then before,

Pretty much yea. Arena Net went all out stupidity on this one. CM was the best income of currency for those who are not willing to abuse Trading Post. For example the lvl80 armor from your races capital costs somewhat 100golds and Arena Net expects every player to get such money. Players will lose interest before the get even the first piece.

This is just plain stupid. If they are planning to nerf the gold income, at least make those cultural armours cheaper otherwise how are people supposed to buy those things? and 100g commander book? This made me really really dissapointed…

They should at least listen to the community before doing a major change like this which can cause raging to all people, including myself. This is totally a bad changes for hardcore player…

You are absolutely right. How dare people try to make money other than ripping off other people in the market?
Farming CM at 10mins run you would only have to do spend 60 hours doing it to buy half of a Cultural armor, that was way too fast.

Anet just made a huge part of the endgame and leveling content completely worthless.

I’m torn between the two sides.

1. I like making easy gold. Hell, I made 3g on there yesterday from an evening and levelled 5 times.

2. The top, top echelons of gear (including t3 cultural) is for the top bracket of players, it’s ridiculous to assume that every player and his wife will have them. Yes, it’s a lot of gold but if you really want it it’ll be worth it.

We had it pretty easy for a while with CM. BUT, I will say this; if you’re going to make the dungeons harder, it is unfair to nerf the reward.

Yesterday from CM:

125k xp, 26s

Today from CM:

11k xp, 3s

you realize its not only one dungeon it nerf your exp and gold gain from all dungeon.

when i red that i assumed it was a debuff that made your reward shrink and lasted about an hour or two.

But no its not that its a kitten horrible nerf to the base exp and reward that were fine if the dungeon was made a bit harder.

AND they made it a bit harder

this is an horrible decision.

i was farming all dungeon now i lose 10 silver for any dungeon i do

ISNT IT GREAT.

just using the waypoint to get to the dungeon make me lose money.

dungeon should have something that make you want to do them.

anything gold exp or loot.

ATM there is none .

The token armor is nice but it must be worth more then cultural armor in gold now.

also is there any other way to make money atm? except exploiting the ah? reliable good money?

no there is not. You cant grind anything in pve. you cant farm mat for a real profit.

all you can do is craft and exploit ah.

thx god i exploited ah and have 120 gold. But im a minority and it suck.

to put thing into perspective its like if you lost 10 gold every 40 minute of raid you have on farm you in wow.

cause if you start wiping it just get ridiculous.

Great now farming dungeons for dungeon armor (wich you have to (insane prices) ) is just a waist since you will loose alot of gold, xp and time.

If the rewards were too easily obtained, they should’ve made certain dungeons’ story mode and/or certain explorable mode paths harder, but not nerfed the rewards. Or, they could’ve made everything easier, but nerfed the rewards. Doing both is a kick in the nuts.

This is the funniest thing I’ve read in a while.

Granted, I think the change to the reward was extreme, I don’t agree with it, and I think it should be reversed. Not that I ever ran more than two of the dungeons in the game, but now that there’s basically zero reward I have zero desire to do them.
