I’ve been trying to find a group for the past week to do CoE Exp. but have found no one, I’ve only done it once in a whole week. Seems like no one ever does.
If any of you do it, can you please add me to the group. I really want to get those pistols T_T They are the only decent good looking pistols in the game, thank you
Because Bjarl is bugged and no one at anet seems to give a kitten and the other two paths take several galactic years to complete.
Bjarl beeing bugged is actually annoying, even thought a mesmer can bypass his door and portal everyone to alpha.
But you cant say the other paths are long^^ path 2 can be completed in 20 min or less, maybe 30 for path 3.
Path 2 is like 5-10min faster than p1, takes some brains to do it fast tho.
P3 is long, but not THAT long, id say 10min longer than p1.
But yeah im VERY disappointed in how LAZY a.net is with fixing bugs, how on earth can it take 3 weeks to fix a path that worked perfectly fine for months!
Evolved husk is the reason why p2 is faster than p1. just l2p.
Destroyer is annoying and is the reason why p3 is the longest, yet still not as long as you think.
I ran coe religiously until fotm which is all I do now pretty much. Havent left la in a while but if you want feel free to add me I’ll help you out. Ign : draugg
I used to run COE a lot but stopped after I got the gear I want. It just too long, with many unavoidable death. Even I’ve been very familiar with COE, but I will still die several times. Why? The crystal time is too short. PUG teams can seldom destroy crystal in time and my vunerable ele always end up dead.
The aggro system of alpha is very annoying too. Alpha always follow me. I counted once that in one fight, he called me crystal 7 times and I died 5 times becuase that team cannot destroy crystal in time.
Also very few teammember can successfuly dodge alpha’s aoe. Many times during the fight they all dead and I’m the only one remained. In path2 the WP is very far from final alpha fight (in fact all paths’ wp are very far) makes them spend most of time on runing back. Not mention path 3, I once spent over 1 hour on it due to that ridicouse team. So many suck memories about COE. That’s why I never run it again.
If you just want the pistols, keep in mind that Mystic Weapons (search on TP!) have the same look and stats as coe weapons. You can get em for about 8 gold right now i think.

I have done CoE path 2 and path 2 only. I want to find people to do path 1 and 3 because I want dungeon title but have had no luck. Everybody just wants to do path 2.
My brain is shagging under the weight of changes… having six characters was not a good idea!

I’ve been on this whole time since i posted my last reply O.o Just whisper to me or something, I’ve stilll only ran CoE once in a week :/
I’m always up for CoE, often run all paths daily, sometimes even multiple times since I have multiple characters at 80. Add/whisper me if you’re ever looking for someone else to run CoE.
