Hi I found something weird and would like to know if other ppl had this same problem. I have 35 ar and I doing a lvl 12 fotm. Got the above stated as the final boss for the dredge fractal. I noticed that ar was hitting me for half my health pool. At lvl 12 with 35 ar, that doesn’t sound right does it? I was running this fractal with my guildmates and I know for a fact that all of them at between 10-15 ar. Funny thing is all our health pool went down to the same lvl. They even started asking me if I was sure that I had my ar gear on and wasn’t running MF gear, which I was not. So I don understand what’s really going on here.

Another thing I would like to mention is that I usually only do lvl 38 and 48. And for a good 2 days i was getting mostly greens and blues from the chests. However when I did lvl 12 on that second day, all the chests gave me mostly rares and the chest on maw gave me all rares 1 loadstone and 2 cores. The daily chest gave me the red ring of death which i didnt ever get before. Mind you I have one bank tab full of ring which are not soulbound(I sold away the rings that I have no use for and are soulbound cos they are taking up too much space). How does this make any sense, can’t be just RNG. Is Anet forcing me to go down and do lower fractals. I really just don’t understand it.

You know if you don’t dodge that attack hits you each time for around 2k?
And that for about 4-6 times I think.

So the agony didn’t do much but the attack itself…

I use a mesmer with about 20k hp(not exactly sure how much). The ground stomp doing damge has been around since fractals for first made, so yes I know about that. And as I mentioned I do lvl 48 fractals so its a given that I do know about saving 2 dodges for it or having blurred frenzy ready for it. Though I have to admit I didnt bother about it since it was only lvl 12. However as far as I can recall I didnt see anyone else dodging it as well.
But my qns is why is everyone else hp at the same lvl as mine. There was another mesmer using full solider stats gear which would give him a similar health pool as mine and same result have hp, actually a bit less then half for him.
How can it be RNG when I did my lvl 48 today again and its back to blues and greens. Gonna do one fractal in tier lvl 10 or 20 and report back my findings

At lvl 12 10 ar mitigates nearly all agony so difference between 10 and 35 ar in that level is either extremely small or there is none.

Agony resist sometimes stops applying properly and you have to unequip and re-equip your items to fix it.

i think its a bug, see, infused ascended rings, back etc. but 0 agony resist, the entire stats are messed up in this round. re-equip dosent work for me, but next frac all was right^^.

YUP! the first day of the new patch and new skin it showed i had 10 AR but i had 25 lololol. I had to put on my gear all over again, from stripping naked for it to re-update. And i do think that when it showed my low-AR , its what it calculated at, as i think i took big damage from agony. since then , never have had a problem
