Arah P4 doesn’t require more than 3, and no, it isn’t exploiting. I’m going to assume that you’re referring to the Grenth encounter, in the first phase. It is a common misconception that you actually have to be on the wells that the wraith teleports to, you only have to attack the wraith, you can stand where ever you please.
CoF p1 is doable 4-man for example with Engineer. CoE (one player can use 2 consoles) and Arah p1 require 4 players.
Arah p4 is doable with 3 players but you need good damage.

Arah P4 is even doable with 2 players. Simin really sucks, though.

Why does it reset when you move out of the circles then?
Because you dont hit it fast enough.
Either because you aren’t hitting it when you’re not in the circle, or you moved out of your circle while whoever was supposed to be hitting the Wraith, didn’t hit the wraith. It’s not very lenient on how long you have to hit the Wraith before he resets.
Remember that the Wraith has a projectile reflection ‘aura’ on him, so if you’re trying to hit him with projectiles while not in the circle (or in the circle, for that matter), that could explain that. This is the one fight where I’ll actually equip a GS on my Mesmer, because as Mesmer I can cover two teleport points by myself by zapping the Wraith
Ah ok. Seemed a bit strange when it reset because i used leap of faith just as it teleported out of my circle.

Ive hit the wraith then it moves on to the next circles as I cast leap of faith, fly out of the circle because i no longer have a target and it reset. Unless thats just coincidence?
The important thing is to make sure that you hit it once asap when it teles in your circle, after that you can get out of the circle doing nothing and it won’t reset, at least in my experience.
It never resetted with me doing this.

Well, I’m not sure if the advanced golem is sequence checked to the laser room, but if he isn’t, I guess you could all skip the lasers and just run to the golem.
If that doesn’t work, my guess would be it has something to do with waypointing.

Im like 99% sure that if you dont activate all the consoles the golem room has a door which stays closed, so you cant actually enter the room, and i dont know of anyway to skip that door :S
Laser room might be possible with 2 man party. 1 mesmer + 1 profession with instant teleport
Side with 3 consoles. This works
Click consoles -> teleport to another console -> click new console. Good timing required.
Never tested:
Side with 2 consoles.
set portal -> click console #1-> use portal -> click console #2
Time window is 5 seconds. Activating console requires less than 5 seconds (4+ seconds?). As long as you have clicked that new console in 5 seconds it activates it

Well I guessed that he was suggesting maybe mesmer blink. But i didnt think it would work due to the consoles being channeled. Never tried it.
We tried (unsuccessfully) to 3-man the lasers the other day. I dropped the entry portal by one console, then hit the pair of adjacent consoles. Other two members hit the two consoles by the waypoint after I started. I dropped the exit portal while channeling, then as soon as the first channel is done (4 seconds) hit f twice to teleport and start channeling the other console. It seemed like it almost worked but we weren’t able to pull it off.

Id imagine it works better with blink. Pressing f to portal could cause it to cancel the first consoles.
We tried this again, and successfully completed the CoE laser puzzle with just 2 players (mesmer and thief). The portal method does work, just needs to be timed well. With just two you also need to sync your start almost perfectly.

CM path 2 might be hard but should be doable (Bomb traps, i don’t remember if you can jump over the door or not anymore)

You can, but you have to take a detour to get there.

CoE can actually be done with 3 people if you have a thief. Have the thief place Shadow trap at one of the consoles near the waypoint, and use Haste on the other once he’s done with the first one he can activate shadow trap and start using the second one before it’s too late.
All I can think of right now that needs 5 is CoF path 1 but I haven’t done many dungeons besides CoE 1, CoF 1, and TA Up recently
