I’ve run the lower level dungeons a few times since the last dungeon update and found out from other players what some of the changes were (ie. added hostiles, added skills to existing hostiles) and I noted some various things on my own.

I ran story mode on AC and CM with both my level 80 with rare gear and my level 45 with masterwork gear. Both times I noted it was harder to go through with the level 45 as it should be. I also noted that even with a well balanced party they are insane even for my level 80.

I know that after level scaling the only edge you could have is your gear, skills, and traits. I know I remember players complaining that the dungeons were too easy for level 80s to go through and when I tried AC and CM with my level 45 back when she was 30(AC) and 40(CM), she could not even make it through to the end without having repaired her gear enough to make any rewards for completing the dungeons moot.

After careful thought on this and I know every level 80 with exotic or better gear will complain, Why are the dungeons not setup for characters that meet the minimum level with basic gear? AC story mode should be setup for a party of 5 level 30s with basic (white) gear being able to finish the dungeon with the reward exceeding the cost of repairs. Same for explorable modes which IIRC are set to be 5 levels higher than the story mode.

If level 80 characters want to do the lower dungeons, then there could just be a level 80 version of the dungeon that a group of 5 level 80s could be dumped in. This way everyone farming with level 80s equipped with exotic gear don’t ruin the dungeons for the lower level players.
