Dungeon Finder // Problem finding groups
Honestly, i like the fact that you have to run around, collect people, etc, what id only really like is a server search setup with dungeon and role checks (Defensive, Offensive, Support that registers via item stat check)
Example: open the LFG window right now, select from the list of dungeons what you want to run and if Story or Explo, it checks gear and registers you under a type, if in a party people get a looking for party member window instead with the list of all online people on the server that registed and then with serch options by dungeon and type
People would still need to interact and actually walk to the ports, talk about strategy, but there wouldnt be derps like 2 thieves and 3 elementalist with all going glass cannon and a server wide search would be in general better since people could actually spend time on useful stuff.
Yes I agree with “The Dude” ever since the Caudecus Mannor armor set became a lvl 80 set ive been really interested in getting it. However in the last week, when i started trying to do the explorable paths runs i found myself wasting more time trying to find a group than actually playing. In fact many of us enjoy doing as ENDGAME Dungeon runs, and we dont have all day to play Guild Wars 2 but just a few moments around the day. Because of this, not having a LFG tab divided into Dungeons strory mode and explorable mode makes the process of finding a group too hard and long and you end up wasting all the time you had to play Guild Wars jsut running around looking for people instead of actually playing. Specially when you can only post a limited ammount of times in the chat windows.
Also i think a Cross-server LFG tab would eb awesome cos many times in one single server it might be hard to find people but im sure that accross all servers the ammount of people must be enormous, and since for dungeons it doesnt matter your server since youa ll get put together inside the dungeons, i think it would be a really positive thing for the game and for casual players
