With the new ‘guesting’ feature that is coming up, is there going to be any thought put towards creating a group finder for dungeons? The fact that gw2lfg.com exists shows that this feature is sorely lacking in GW2.

I’d run dungeons more if I were able to actually find groups for them without having to waste a bunch of time going to LA and spamming for a group, or using gw2lfg.com and again hoping someone private messages me (and I don’t miss the message during an intense fight).

I know GW2 is relatively new, but RIFT and other modern MMORPGs added these kinds of feature pretty early on.

If I recall correctly, they said they are working on one, it won’t be like WoW where it puts you inside the dungeon, it will probably be more like GW2LFG.com where you can form a party with people who want the same thing you do, and it won’t come out in the January, February or March updates.

So no, I don’t think it will be soon, but I think it will come out this year.

I hope they do come out with something. At 80 i haven’t touched dungeons for a couple of reasons, one of them being i really don’t like shouting on map chat LFG XXXX. I remember doing it in GW1 and WoW and sitting there with a half full group thinking “you know…i have some amazing single player games to play and not be sitting in a player hub advertising a group”

they have NOT said they would put this in, the only time a dev have stated one or the other was right after launch where the statement was “we dont see why anyone would want this and we got no intention of making an lfg system” -.- loooong ago… anet are quite useless when it comes to taking community feedback
