Hi! I actually signed up in the original thread but I guess my timing is off. I main an ele, guardian and ranger. I would very much like someone to teach me the ins and outs of Arah. I’ve never run it and have been meaning to learn it for quite some time. Please add me!

I’d really love to join the guild as a student, I mostly play Dungeons on either my Mesmer or Warrior <3
I’m on NA server and I play during OCX/Sea time

I just want to make sure this isn’t highjacking someone’s elses initiative, if all is fine, all is well!
Pretty sure the old leaders have gotten burnt out and have stepped down. Though both are great people and have always been willing to help those who actually want it. Mentoring is… well, it’s draining. Getting a group of people who actually eat up what you put out is awesome, it’s great, nothing draining about that to me, but that’s a rarity. More often you get those just wanting you to carry them through some content, or that argue with you because what you suggest isn’t what they read somewhere or saw in a speed run. And, of course those that just can’t “get it” where half way through you’re both thinking “kitten , this just isn’t working.”
It’s a lot of work.
I wish I still had the energy. I made some friends that came into teaching runs with me, or that I was leading, but I just don’t have that kind of motivation anymore. I wish the new guys luck. There’s nothing wrong with a passing of the guard.
Yeah I share the same opinion and sentiment. I was a mentor too, after all. It just became too hard to push myself to do it. Three years with the same stuff doesn’t help at all.
I just hope the new guys are as knowledgeable as the previous mentors, we don’t want to see a lowering of standards do we?

You dont have to bother about EU dungeon/fotm trials, we’re not sure about NA though, but Quaggan will help trial them on NA and we trust him. I will trial arah mentors so you can be sure they will be good.

A lot of bad players asked for mentoring so if you dont know everything about your class or you are not able to solo stuff in dungeons and you dont even know boss mechanics please dont waste our time.WHO ARE WE?
We Teach How We Want [Noob] is a guild for everyone who wants to learn doing dungeons or fractals,
every skill level is accepted as long as you truly have the willingness to learn.
You don’t have to represent the guild!
I just wanted to point out that you have two extremely conflicting ideals here and that the tone of the first part of this quote might be a misrepresentation of your actual intent. It comes off a bit hostile and demeaning which are not good aspects to have when you’re trying to teach players who are potentially new to dungeons.
You can’t claim to be a mentor for noobs to dungeons and then shun noobs because they don’t know how to solo dungeon content, or know every aspect of their class (especially in team play). Since a large portion of the game does not require direct play with a team or understanding team mechanics, the main introduction to working with other classes directly comes from experiencing dungeons.
I love the idea, and what you are striving to achieve, hence my reason for posting feedback on this section. A lot of people are afraid to even try because they’re afraid people will be impatient, rude, or belittle them while they are trying to learn. This can be permanently damaging and turn people off from some otherwise very rewarding content if not properly kept in check.
Unless of course this message is meant to be directed at those seeking to BE a mentor, not those seeking MENTORING.
