Dungeons

  • Polished dungeons and removed the ability to use waypoints while any player is in combat. *
    As an old Gw1 player of many years, Interest is quickly waning in the supposed ‘dynamic’ nature of Gw2.
    Begins to sound too much like P2P. Is it a revenue raising attempt?
    Only way to rez without party wipe = sell more Resurrection Orbs
    All members receive guaranteed armor damage = sell more instant repair canisters.

Very disappointed. All l can say is please revise this decision

You can still come back after the party kills the boss. What’s the problem here? It was fundamentally flawed in design to be able to res rush bosses. It cheapened the encounter.

Hell, they can even res you mid fight.

You’re a little late to the party mate. And, the dungeons play just fine with the change. If not better.

the issue is , im still seeing some dungeons that are NOT polished enough to justify the “no res rushing” “fix”. Lupi ive seen a random shot you cant keep track of just ONE SHOT you no downed time , Andal in HotW Exp path 2 still has 2 quaggan champs and is a legendary himself that hits like a truck , NONE of that justifies the no res rush “fix” since theres no holy trinity and your dodge is VERY limited.

all i can say is REMOVE the “no rez rush” function untill you see more dungeons ACTUALLY polished off to something that is managable. only then would that be a good idea.

True. I’ve done Arah path 4 after the update with a PuG. No rez-rushing is needed.

Andal in HotW Exp path 2 still has 2 quaggan champs and is a legendary himself that hits like a truck , NONE of that justifies the no res rush “fix” since theres no holy trinity and your dodge is VERY limited.

Not to mention the fight is in a small room with AoEs everywhere. It’s hard enough to kite them and even harder to res someone that goes down. Give us more room (won’t happen) or decrease their HP or damage and its perfect.

This forum cracks me up. Everything is a conspiracy.

PS: Stop dying and you don’t have to worry about waypointing.
