As I get older, I notice that more and more people lack what I dub ‘people skills’, this is not Anets fault, it is the communities fault for not considering the viewpoint of the other players. The following are some examples of what would be nice to see in dungeons.

1) Be respectful, don’t be an kitten I don’t get enjoyment out of trolling the other members in my team, and you shouldn’t either, since they will leave and you wont finish the instance. Troll them after you get the loot.

2) Listen to requests from other dungeon members, doesn’t mean do what they want, just acknowledge them at least.
For instance:
A:: Can you not time-warp against subject alpha? It makes me die using my evade skill.
B:: Sorry you died, I’ll ping Time-warp next time i use it so you dont use skill by accident. I’m still going to use time-warp.

Instead of
A:: Can you not time-warp against subject alpha? It makes me die using my evade skill.
B:: Learn to dodge noob.

3) If even just one person in the group doesn’t want to exploit and glitch the dungeon, don’t do it. Things like bugging bosses, glitching through geometry to complete all three paths in one go, etc. A-net has been known to ban for these things, and they aren’t instant ban, they are ban you 2 months later after they collect data (GW1 Mallyx exploit anyone?)

4) Skipping mobs is a fact of life, if someone has an issue with it, kindly tell them to skip anyway.

Ill add more if the community comes up with them

Be on the same page!

What do I mean? Well, there are some encounters that can be done more than one way. However, some methods often clash with each other. For example, the Dredge Power Suit and Ice Elemental boss in the end of the Dredge Fractal. Some people like circling around the room, while others like moving back and forth; but if some people are going different directions, the fight can be longer and harder than it should. If you are the party leader, let everyone know your strat and make sure everyone sticks to it!

Say something and be concise!

As in use party chat. I can probably decipher most scribbles on the mini-map without having someone to translate for me; but unfortunately, most probably don’t pay attention to it. Instead, read chat and, if told to do so, pay attention to the mini-map.

Stick together!

For some instances, you may want to wait on those behind you, especially when it comes to shortcuts, jumping puzzles, the Underwater Fractal, and gasp skipping mobs!

If you’re the “skipping” type, don’t expect everyone else to follow you and rush along. This may be true if you happen to be in a guild group that doesn’t skip. Kohler is notorious example in that in my guild, he always dies! If we pug you and you like to skip Kohler, then don’t expect to stick around with the group any longer.
