So dungeon runes are “Soulbound on Acquire”, this is a problem if you have many alts like me and want to give them specific runes but don’t run dungeons regularly with them.

Although we could just buy the runes with tokens, I feel that if these dungeon runes are bound to keep them from being sold or tossed into the forge, why not just make them account bound instead of soulbound, that way we can outfit our alts and still maintain the same “bound runes to account/unsellable” status.

Totally agreed. I have no idea why the runes are soulbound when the sigils aren’t.

In the meantime though, there is a workaround you can use to get them onto the right character. Buy a cheap level 65+ white armor piece and install the dungeon rune onto it. The armor itself will still be account bound. Throw it into your bank, then retrieve it on the character who is going to be the recipient, and use a BLSK to salvage the rune off. It will now be soulbound to the 2nd character.

Another one of the good things that have been suggested about a million times. Unfortunately, ANet doesn’t care about anything that can’t be sold in the gem shop.
