Hi so for the rewards of honor of the waves i kind of messed up… i bought medium armor chest and legs for my necromancer -_- is there any way to exchange my armor back to tokens?

I’m sorry to say “no” Anet don’t have any facilities for refunds or exchanges as of yet.
I am also going to say that I am incredibly frustrated by seeing player after player with the same complaint. This issue was solved in many earlier games by the presence of a checkbox which is enabled by default filtering the items in a vendors list to only those that the player can use. Incredibly easy to code and add to the UI and SHAMEFUL that this wasn’t in the game at launch.
Even more shameful that it hasnt been added 3 months after launch…

I’d just run the dungeon again – you’ll get the right armor a lot quicker. I did the same thing for my first piece of exotic armor, was so excited. That was in September, so I doubt this will be rolled back for you.
