Could someone please point me to this answer if there is an official one.

We’ve been wondering why we need so many different dungeon tokens? Why can’t one kind be enough? If it’s a matter of some dungeon armour have to be more difficult to get all it could take, was raising the cost of some armour.
The way it is now, people only run the dungeons where they can get the armour they want, they don’t want the different tokens to take up space in the inventory (considering how many you need and they stack only 250) Imo, they at least shouldn’t be bound.
I’m a little concern how dungeons runs (or lack of it) will look in the future also with game expansion in mind, we’ll probably get more dungeons and more kinds of tokens.

making one armor cost more than the other woudnt make it much harder tho, for example if you take 4 wars and a gaurd to cof p2 you can just rush trough the dungeon in 10 – 15 minutes.

Because farming ac/cof shouldn’t let you pick armours from harder dungeons, no matter the cost.

In terms of dungeons there are a few good reasons why the dungeon tokens are unique.
1. You shouldn’t be able to do the easiest dungeons to get the hardest armor sets. Sure they are all for looks and that was probably already compromised when arah shard farming was around.
2. Dungeon special jewelry, These special jewels have recipes where the only difference in the recipes depends on what tokens you throw in. For example the TA ring vs. the Arah ring the difference is in the unique tokens (the super rare recipes from the bosses).
3. Adds diversity, i know right now dungeons are in a secondary spot because of fractals, but diversity is never a bad thing to have unless there are way too many dungeons, which can cause a problem, but we are talking a lot of dungeons rather than 8 different dungeons (9 if you count fractals).
