Dungeon Tokens - Add Lodestones to Vendors
I completely agree. I know how to farm them but it’s only something the bored and unemployed can do successfully.
I want to see the employed players who have a 9 to 5 and a family be able to get these not just players like me.
Players like me pay your monthly. The only thing you have to do is show respect to people who convert gems into gold. The general consensus seems to be that buying gold through gems is a bad thing … it’s not. We are the ones keeping the game alive.
Sincerely.

Great idea!))
I fully agree. It’s not just the legendaries but several other nice looking skins as well that suffer from the low drop rates of lodestones. Besides, anything that makes non-fotm dungeons attractive again is a good thing IMO
I agree with the OP. Lodestones should be more easily accessible, seeing as they’re a compliment good for many recipes and items (see: runes, weapons).
Charged lodes at 120 tokens? Sign me up for daily full CoE clears.
I agree with the idea. However, 120 tokens may actually too much for some lodestones. Glacial Lodestones, for example, cost 60 silver. You can make that running one path in AC, but HotW is more time consuming and less rewarding; if it required two paths in HotW to get what you can get doing one path of AC, people would still not run HotW and so this token exchange system would have been wasted. The same applies to Molten Lodestones, and Corrupted Lodestones are borderline, but considering how time consuming Arah is… Those lodestones shouldn’t cost 120 tokens, or no one would use tokens for them.

I fully support adding cores and lodestones to the dungeon vendors. I was in the process of making this suggestion when I happened across this thread.
I’m currently trying to make Sunrise, short of spending 390g just for the lodestones required, I am able to do CoE runs but have never seen a core or lodestone drop from the dungeon. None of the gear or items via vendor even interest me so I’m stuck with the tokens just wasting away.
Cores and Lodestones via dungeon vendors would balance out this market as right now the cost to make certain legendaries are so far apart that you start to wonder, what’s the real point? I understand it’s a supply vs demand issue, but with other lodestones being so easily obtainable and farm spots not dependant on uncontested temples I don’t think it’s so out of bounds to ask for this.
while i think this is a great idea, the price should be 180-210 trophies instead of 120 as to not crush the market too much with the flood of lodestones that’d hit the market.
another idea would be to add something like the new Orr box to dungeons where it’s 120 trophies for some t6 crafting materials, a decent chance for random cores or lodestones, and a good chance to receive cores or lodestones associated with the dungeon, and this could even be added to wvw to be bought with badges as well.
this method is in-line with Anet’s love affair with RNG, and it could be implemented in both pve and wvw, so people can choose which gameplay acquisition method the player prefers. also, it would reduce the chance that the lodestone market would be flooded until the prices on these items were in the toilet.
