Dungeon issues for level 35-79
That’s a horrible idea.
You can easily do a dungeon on someone levels 35 to 79.
I leveled my thief off of nothing but explorable mode dungeons.
My level 55 thief got kicked out of AC groups 5 times today, within 15 minutes due to “you’re not level 80”.. and yes, of course the idea is not good, it was born due to my anger…

Being level 80 isn’t as big of a deal as being talented.
I’m really confused, especially to AC my guild usually takes 2-3 people under 80 – yes, also pugs. I’ve never been kicked for playing on a not 80 alt – guess I was just lucky. Maybe it also depends on the server, I don’t know. Some people can play, others can’t – level is not a good indicator for skill.
Valynaard.8475, I would say it’s just “Elitists at Work”. In the case of AC, the group was probably (but not explicitly advertised) set up to do a speed-run or a money-run.
Anjhouli.7049, it might be because you have “virtual kick-protection” from your guild. Meaning that if a level 80 pug were to attempt to kick you from the group simply because you’re not 80, then that pug essentially kicked out anyone associated with your guild from the group. Now if you were to go solo as a non-80 alt, then that might be a different situation all together.
Personally, I think the lower-level dungeons should be more welcoming to lower level puggers since pugs are probably the ones who are affected the most by these sort elitist-like players. Alternatively, you should run with a guild or close friends. If the outsider makes attempts to boot you out because you’re not level 80, then your friends can leave and show them what’s the deal. Also: be sure that you or your close friends are the ones who enters the instance first… if the pug does boot out the instance owner, they basically screwed themselves out as well.

Ari Kagura.9182, I’ve been puggin solo as well – never had an issue. But the thing is, I mostly start the group – I prefer to put the group together on my own, instead of joining a 4/5 group.
If you yourself start the group, you can set the tone – be welcoming, be friendly, be relaxed. Also take a look at the names of your fellow players – of course nick names are not everything, but the can give a clue about the person. “N00BHUNTERXXX” is more likely to kick than someone with an actual name, in my experience. Should anyone here be named “N00BHUNTERXX” and not kick low levels from AC-groups. I apologize in advance
