For the past, well, while, I have been trying to level alts in dungeons. The EXP is great, a whole level sometimes two. But these alts? They are often around the recommended level for the dungeon. My Mesmer, for example is lvl 36 right now. She’s meets the level needed for AC exploration mode. it will get her to 37 or maybe 38, it will get me almost 2 gold and 60-70 AC tears I need for my legendary. So with all this I can get on my alt, I am finding the LFG tool is something I want gone simply because I will stop using it entirely to find groups.

Why? PuGs. 96 out of 100 people I find in the LFG tool assume my toon is a lvl 80 zerker DPS/Utility Mesmer who can blast damage, provide support and that I personally know every little skip, exploit, and glitch. I know many, and I also know how to use the Mesmer’s Great sword to keep up. Now why, oh why, can PuGs not stand my lvl 36 Mesmer in a lvl 35 dungeons? Also, why is the routine to skip Kholer at all costs?

My reasoning: Pugs can’t take a fight with a difficulty rating higher than “Very Easy” and if you aren’t is full zerker exotics/ascended you aren’t welcome in even the lowest level dungeons. I have similar issues on my main, a level 80 high DPS great sword warrior. I pull my weight, I do my job and everyone else is mucking around unsure of what to do when the mobs decide to shake up their agro table even a little.

Also, the Champ Troll in AC? I haven’t seen a dead one in a while. So I will leave with this. I think PuGs are the worst way to do dungeons and would recommend every player out there find a core group they can do dungeons with, other wise you’ll have a bad time.

If you need to make a run of AC, just PM me in-game. I do AC on a daily basis with my guild, and we DO NOT stack on spider queen and ALWAYS kill kholer.

Am I the only thinking if you are a low level, you should group with a low level?

There are exactly “0” people who think that way. Everyone think they should group with lvl80 when they are lvl35.

Am I the only one thinking if you are new to dungeon. You should find other new people to group with? So other veterans won’t have to waste time carrying me?

After I read all the post on the forum. I give up on that idea. I’ll try to get in high level group myself and hope I don’t get kick.

BTW I have no prolbem making a non lvl80 AC group, so I’m not sure what’s the fuzz about.

Let me say this one last time which I already said a million time.

I play on NA server and I have “0” problem forming a non80 AC group at any time of the day.

Why do you insult people who want to do speed run. When you can form a low level group yourself.

Maybe because you want very easy run yourself?

People tell other people not to discriminate when people disciminate themself. That is the problem.

The reason people want 80s is because it makes the dungeon runes smoother. Compare a level 35 in masterworks and barely traited to a fully traited, fully geared 80.

Level 35 mesmer doesn’t have access to, say, warden’s feedback whereas a level 80 does.

It really doesnt bother me if someone wants to run a dungeon with an alt to level it. It’s alright, we get downscaled anyway and that 90 extra stat from lvl 80 gear gets downscaled as well
