Dungeon linked to Party Leader
I feel your pain… recently did a cof p3 run (believe it or not I actually like p3 and try to run it daily!) and we kept dying at the waves part, no communication and the wrong tactics set by the wrong people.
All in all we kept wiping, about 6 wipes and still no proper communication, I tried with all my might (pun intended) to explain what we need to do and why we are failing, what did I get? “No your wrong I done p3 once before this is how you do it…” uh… We just wiped 6 times so your 1 run credibility isn’t as reliable as you thought… Listen please? Anyways:
Bam party leader says I give up and leaves the dungeon, oh gee a hour of struggling and teaching a group how to do p3 just to be kicked out… kitten you party leader bull kitten, I was all game to see the few, how can I put this lightly… hard-headed ones leave and get some new people to finish it. But due to the leader quitting it was over.
Although I do expect this to happen with p3, especially with pugs since most people get really frustrated when they don’t win asap.
Maybe add in a leader link in party list, *right click on ThiBash – pass party leader to ThiBash – then rage quit" or something along the lines of passing the “leader” to the next person when the leader decides it’s time to leave.
This is party dictatorship!
p.s if you have a tendency to rage quit and don’t care about other peoples time, just stop starting dungeon instances please Let the calm heads start it.
And never forget these words by Albert Einstein – “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Yeah, they really should put in the option for leader to pass his position to someone else. On the other hand – the leader deserves to have some form of control, because he’s the one, who went through trouble assembling the group in the first place, it’s just that many people don’t understand that with such control also comes a responsibility, that’s why, when I run fotm with pug, I always make sure, that I’m the one, who created the group and I’m the one, who entered the instance, because I can account for myself, that I would never rage-quit and screw my party in such way, just because we had some bad luck or some coordination issues – I’ll keep trying as long, as the rest of the party will be willing to
