Was thinking they could maybe add in a HoT dungeon mastery that unlocked a new dungeon vendor tab that sold HoT stat gear. Would probably need to cost more tokens but hey it could be nice.

That seems like a reasonable compromise that keeps the stats gated behind the expansion and still allow people more variety of content to obtain them.

I’d say just create gen 2 purchasable armor/weapons that have select-able stats. Only available via the mastery track.

I am all for an overhaul of the dungeon vendor. There has been a need for this for a long time, long before the expansion got released even.
The last reward change as well as the recent daily additions could mean that they are not done yet with dungeons after all.

That’s a typo. Supposed to be “last reward change”. Was talking about the achievement system which grants you a chest after eight unique paths. The one they added a while back.

yeah.. That doesn’t really make me think they are going to do any more with dungeons unfortunately.

You never know with ArenaNet. Wouldn’t have thought they were going to bring the rewards back up again after the nerf either. They still did and even found a good way to please most of the players.
Next might be adding some existing stuff to the vendor. There is always a tiny bit of hope.

yeah.. That doesn’t really make me think they are going to do any more with dungeons unfortunately.

This particular suggestion doesn’t require that they do anything with the dungeons themselves, only with what the dungeon token vendor offers. (Not saying it’s trivial to implement, just it doesn’t require adjusting encounters or AI.)
