So I have some legendary goals I’d like to fulfill as many of us do, and while I can get some extra money from the TP, I’d like to expedite the process a bit.

My goal is to make 60 gold per day, and the TP can usually net me 5-15 gold per day depending on how lucky I get. Since I don’t want to take risks, I figured that running dungeons would be the best way to reach my goal of 60 g per day. If I still flip casually, which dungeon paths would I have to do eachday to make the kitten gold needed to reach that goal?

The only concern I have is for how much time I’d be able to spend on this. I am busy during the day and I typically always try to do a fractal each day and run with my guild in WvW most nights. I could give up the daily fractal as its gold/per time spent is a bit low.

Anyways, I’d appreciate any advice and tips on this subject.

Dungeons are by far one of the best ways to make money in this game.
I try and run these paths everyday.

Ascalon Catacombs – All paths
Caudecuses Manor – All Paths – If you have a level 80 thief they are invaluable for these paths
Twilight Arbor – Up/Forward – Guardian can be very helpful
Sorrows Embrace – Path 1/3
Citadel of Flame – Path 1/2

All these paths take me about 4 hours average and nets me a guaranteed 20g + mats.
In the end i usually make anywhere from 30 – 60 gold. There are obviously more paths that can be run but i usually stick to those.

You can also make a decent amount of money from the tokens. Here is a video that does a fantastic job explaining how.

Hey thanks a lot! I’ll probably try to do a similar set of paths as the ones you describe but I’ll add in one or two paths from CoE since I need the tokens for the legendary I want lol.

I’m only worried about PUGs slowing me down, and about the possibility of putting me fractal running career on hold temporarily.

Pugs can be hit or miss but if you make sure to only join groups with lvl 80s you will be pretty safe.

The main reason I don’t run CoE is because of the inconsistent availability of the dungeon. One of the more lengthy event lines to unlock.

IMO, the last thing you want to pug is Caudecus Manor path 2.

nearlight, you may want to get in another guild for dungeon running. PM me, I can set you up.

Try to do CoE All path and CoF path 1 and 2 everyday. With the token, buy some rare gear to salvage into ectos. For CoE and CoF alone, you should be able to get 7-8 ectos per day.

for me and my guildies we normally run AC all path, CoF p1p2, HotW p1… altogether just a little over 2 hours, netting around 12-14g gold… and we do them everyday…

I usually do AC pt1, pt3, TA up and fwd, CoF full run and I’m looking forward to learning the rest of the paths so that I can include them to the runs. We did SE pt1 yesterday and it seems super easy so it’s probably worth it too. C:

COE speedruns are probably the best balance between time spent/income. But pugging it is very hit and miss. Fastest speed run of all 3 paths was probably about 40min. Literally skipped and melted everything that was in the way. However, I love that dungeon and often host slugging matches through it just for the sake of it.

On my days off, this is my scheduled dungeon run

AC all paths
CM all paths
TA up and forward
SE 1+ 3
COF 1 + 2
HOTW 1 (2+3 if done early)
COE all paths

Definitely good money right there… usually one or two exotics each time, and maybe a charged core from COE

Thats a good idea. The only thing is that I still need a few CoE tokens for meteorlogicus, but after that I can switch to Arah. I would be worried about pugging it though, as thats what I’d probably have to do. I can handle all the fights and whatnot, but I do struggle with some of the trash skips.
