Dungeon selling. Dead?
[SPQR]
I wouldn’t say that’s a solution, he’s basically suggesting dungeon sellers get a guild instead of adding each other in their friend list. It’s still the same “get a filler” solution, which is definitely not fullproof anymore.
Proxy selling will work, but you need a second person to sell outside of the party.
Good luck though, it’s been made pretty clear that harassment is condoned if you’re a seller through LFG of anything.
It’s not only dead, but I stopped pugging/helping people through lfg in general because I myself do not want to get kicked for any reason. After I was done with Lupi practice, I put LFG up as "free p2 at lupi, take the instance) and I was kicked within moments, losing the progress as well as chance for people to practice soloing/duoing/killing lupi. At that moment I realized Gw2 has turn into dog eat dog situation and try to avoid anything that would ruin my day.

Same players. Just more incentive to grief so those who wouldn’t have grief in the past do now.
- Previously: You are instance owner. Kicking you only appeals to those who take pleasure in griefing.
- Now: Kicking you gives the kickers your instance for free.
The result: more kicking, of course. Nice work Anet!

Of course anet should have thought twice before changing the system, and I hope they realise that it can`t stay this way.
But in my opinion the major fault is done by the comunity

Yeah, because it took no more than 5 minutes to the forum users to see this issue, but yeah just don’t give a crap about player feedback as always …
It’s been dead for months actually.
“deadish” Bought an Arah run last night and an Aetherpath run.
Asked both if they had many griefers and answer was “no”
may have been because it was during the day though.
It’s been dead for months actually.
How so?

Too many skilled players selling + Too many exploiters selling = 2
If someone use LFG tool to join party, he has cooldown to kick anyone for 5 minutes. Problem solved.

This actually has potential in my eyes. Are there any obvious or loophole downsides to this?
to be faceroll at the high levels, because it
needs to be accessible to the casuals and bads.

Someone uses LFG to join a party, invites his friend outside of LFG tool. The friend initiates the kick. They steal the instance?
It’s kinda ridiculous. WoW has a system since about 10 years that one is the leader of the group (marked with a crown). The leader can’t be kicked, if the leader leaves however, someone else receives the leadership. They should do somehting like this.
‘would of been’ —> wrong

What if it was appended to not allow kicking for 5 minutes regardless of how one joined the party?
There’s two potential conversations to be had here, one about the general feasibility of this idea, and the other about the actual duration of this anti-kick measure.

Haha that could do it xp I was just responding to there being loopholes.
Dungeon owner leaves mid-way through or before final boss, kicking everyone: “Anet needs to change that.”
Anet removes dungeon owners so them leaving doesn’t screw the whole group: “This is bullkitten.”
I love the MMO community.

There is hundred of suggestion on how to improve LFG scattered everywhere on the forum, any of them would have done a much better job. But they handled it poorly which resulted in more griefing.
I love people who play devil’s advocate.
And what’s up with the dungeon seller hostility, good players offer a service to player who don’t want to bother with dungeon, like PvP players, WvW players. They take their time (easily 40+ minutes in path like arah) and hours of practice to do so, not everyone is an exploiter, most of them are actually not.

I am sorry for you dungeon sellers… but this has been a very welcomed change to people like me. There have been times when the dungeon owner went afk, outright left the party, or even logged out and we couldn’t kick him to continue.

This is what we asked for minus the crown, but got the kitten up version that is here. DON’T ask Anet for anything.
