This is directly from the support site, I was advised to put it on the forum for the developers to see.

I was scrolling down through the Seraph outfitter items, determined to buy leggings for my warrior when i was checking out the stats. When i had chosen the stats i wanted i bought the item for 300 seals and by mistake i bought the medium armor one. I can’t find a way to return it, I also can’t use it on any other character since it’s soulbound (unlike the tokens themselves). Could you be so kind to either implement some way of returning mistakingly bought items before use or at least help me and others like me with this problem. I can not express how much I am enjoying your game, it’s living up to all my expectations but I really can’t be bothered to waste 3 days doing a dungeon I’ve already done 15 times because of a misclick.

Thanks for the response and of course I’ll keep enjoying your game. I’m not frustrated for my own mistakes but I did want to bring this to your attention as a problem, since the more people I told about this little fail of mine the more i realized there are several more people that have done this by mistake. So if you would perhaps bring it to the developers attention that in the near future the tokens could maybe be returned within a small time-limit I would be grateful for the players who make the same mistake in the future.

yeah i have done this mistake 2 times now lol i bought a focus instead of a shield and a pair of boots with the wrong stats on it. i ask if they could give me back my token or something but they said they are not able to do this at the moment.

we either need a token refund or some kittening organization to the equipment vendor. arena net, let’s face it, are prone to massive oversights of tiny errors that piss people off (blingg shouting outside FotM comes to mind most recently). this is one of them.

this game should be challenging. unfortunately, challenging is often very close to frustrating, by its own nature. so the parts that can be easy as kittenHOULD be easy as kitten. this is one of those parts. but again, i’d much rather they re-organized those clusterwhoops of vendors instead of refunding tokens.

I was thinking more of the lines of refunding tokens for a limited time, or that only your own armor class/weapons usable would be buyable since the items are soulbound anyway.

It would be nice if they inserted a 10 second time limit for you to be able to return the item. I’ve done the same mistake, and it can easily mean you’ve wasted 3 runs in a certain dungeon.

Reminds me of when wow added the “soulbound raid items only soulbind when you exit the raid” so people could trade them around incase of mistakes.

Was a good system
