Dungeon token reward change is undesirable.
A. This is the 100th post about this topic, probably could have avoided this thread altogether and just posted in one of those threads.
B. More importantly, ANET doesn’t read the dungeon forums anymore so your are wasting your time.

Well, it was better than not trying at all. And this is something that most posters hare seem to no like at all. I’ll just try a different section.

Heh, sorry about that. Though, before this change, you could just do the other 2 paths and switch alts, so I didn’t understand all the threads about that path in particular.
It has encouraged dungeon diversity, it’s actually quite profitable to chain the easy paths from every dungeon.
If you’re the type of player who just does CoF1 once, then logs off because mean old Anet ruined your easy gold farming (which has just been moved to Cursed Shore btw), then I don’t really know what to say.
The only thing is that within guilds now, if you miss player prime time you’re not going to be able to put a group together because there’s just no replay value for the other members. And even if token rewards were fixed but the gold reward was left account bound, I still wouldn’t rerun a path on an alt, because more profit can still be made elsewhere (unless of course I desperately needed tokens from that dungeon.)

Not unless they return the tokens AND 26 silver per character per completion. I think 26 silver and tokens could be enough to persuade players to do easy dungeons like CoF1 or CoE. I mean there’s never too much tokens when you have 8 80s lol

Well, I’m not one of those. If anything, I’m more of a Crucible of Eternity all paths runner. Sorta. I just liked a lot of the Inquest gear, so I needed lots of tokens, though I did run other dungeons every now and then, with the exception of Caudecus Manor and Arah, mainly because the gear from those dungeons didn’t appeal to me and the runs I did of those places left a bad impression.
I should point out that this is about the tokens, not the gold, because there are other ways to get gold. I’m concerned about the tokens which you can only get from running these particular dungeons, because there’s still quite a bit of dungeon gear I want to get for my characters, and this has slowed that down greatly.

Is very unfortunate for low playtime players not to be able to do dungeons more time with different characters, having only 180 tokens at day mean that for a full set we have to wait weeks while a lot of old players already did it and have tons of sets make in 2-3 days.
This is very unfair for legit players with limited play time, please Anet revert the change or fix it.
I’m interested in CM full set but in this way it took me so much time, that i’m force to log in to do the 3 paths then log out bored waiting the next day.
Very very bad ruleset.

Reducing the token reward to just 20 tokens from the path itself and the other 40 from an account bound daily reward chest does not make people want to run other dungeons/paths. They’ll just run the same paths they want to, only once each, and then either log off or do something else.
This. Tokens are the encouragement to run other paths, not dungeons. There’s a reason why I would run all 3 hotw paths – I want the armor not the gold. Once all the paths were exhausted I would stop running and go earn some money not do another dungeon, I don’t want their tokens. If anything this additional nerf has made it very hard to find a group – once someone has exhausted all 3 paths they’re done for the day. At least before they could run the path again on another character and help more people out, but there’s no incentive to now (both gold and token wise).
I support this, don’t like to do dungeon for 2 weeks just to get the whole set + weapon I like, dungeons aren’t daily why nerf the tokens on multi char…. >.<
I agree with this thread, what’s the point having few level 80 if only 1 character can be rewarded from dungeons. So the more I create characters the less profit I can get. It means I can only spend my profit on 1 character per day.
Please Arenanet, make the daily dungeon reward for each character and not via account

You don’t understand, how am I be able to gear ’em if I can only get rewarded for one character per day? I want to play with ’em but not enough tokens to give ’em gear.
The new daily rewards give a lot of gold. Why not just buy gear off of the trading post? Cosmetics will come eventually, you don’t need them ASAP. The stats are what are actually important.
I know it was a good idea to farm the kitty cat out of some dungeons before the patch (nerf) “fixed” the dungeons. It takes ages to get a full set of dungeon armor and weapons now. Good thing I play WvW too.
I want to play what I want, when I want. ANet already said “No” to that kind of player behavior. You can choose of some stuff of what they want you to play. You are “encouraged” to play that kind of stuff. ANets way or waste of time. At least we have a choice.

So, if you only log in to do your dungeon runs for tokens then log back out bored to tears, then why are you even playing this game? What will you do once you have the armor/weapons? Quit the game because you now have what you want and are bored? That logic doesn’t make sense.
