I’m fine with exotics taking time to get. But, people want to farm for gear even if its just for looks. You can’t make things take forever to get so that it requires farming and then put in anti-farming code.
Just like you can’t make dungeons really hard but still make it take 7 to 8 runs to get ONE piece of gear and then punish people for running it multiple times in a row. What sense does that make? Like i said, make dungeons hard, but make it take 4 to 5 runs to get one piece of gear and don’t punish me for running it more than once in a row.
YOU have a mechanic where if I want a full set of gear I need to run a dungeon many times, why are you punishing me for doing that(xp/gold diminishing returns).
It’s common sense people.

I was fine with farming CoF 69 times for 1380 tokens getting 25 silver and about 200k experience each run.
I am not fine with getting 2 kittenin’ silver and 17k exp after completing a buffed CoF.
I usally don’t come on the forums and complain but these changes make no sense to me. They tell us they don’t want us to farm or grind, but then make stuff very hard to get. And when we do have an “easier” time with something, they just make it harder or more grindy to get it.
I don’t get it…..

I am a very reasonable person who is always ready to defend games and their design decisions, and I agree with this message.
On top of my statements in the OP it seems the diminishing returns are buggy. Last night i ran CoF exp just to check out the changes, nothing was too shocking except that Magg is mentally handicapped durring the lava run now and those mobs respawn too fast. The CoF run took about 45 minutes, me and a guild mate received diminishing returns on that run(the first dungeon run of the night) getting 2 silver and 17k xp, the other 3 guild mates in the group received full rewards.
Then we decided to do Honor of waves(the Kodan one) storymode. None of us have ever even been in that dungeon before and the same thing happened. Myself and the same guild mate received 2 silver and 17k xp as the other received 26 silver and 177k xp
Repairs for each dungeon cost me about 6 silver. So i spent 12 silver and got 4 silver from dungeons….good times. Yes i probably still made money because i sold all the blue drops instead of salvaging them.
My meat (Charr laughs) with this is that lets face it why does a F2P need 10000000+ hours to get armor that is the same as said exotic from the trading post?
I like the idea of doing dungeons for looks, but seriously….don’t punish me with diminishing returns if all I get is 35 tokens out of over 500 needed for a set of armor. I need that silver to pay for dying a lot from the grindyness.
