AC explorable is harder than any other explorable dungeon, except maybe Fractals.

any dungeon requires to watch youtube and understand some rotations….

At that time you can almost turn off your monitor.

Trying to play a dungeon for the first time without knowing the stupid AI mechanics and animations is way more than difficult.

A really good pvp or www team trying a dungeon for the first time would wipe in few seconds.

Once you see a dungeon once, you can do any dungeon with minimal effort.
The exact reason why this game lack longevity.

Putting random events would ve helped with minimal effort, but they instead choose to add gear grinding that requires almost 0 work.

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

The problem with a good pvper or wvwer is that none of their skills translates into dungeons. PVE players run into the problem that open world content is pretty easy so their skills are often lacking. All 3 have the problem that their builds aren’t suited for dungeons.

The gear grind is optional, all dungeons (other than fractals with agony) don’t need anything more than exotics (and good players can do them in blues and greens, or naked for that matter).

All dungeons are level 80. There is absolutely no incentive to allow low level or inexperienced people into your dungeon group. I have 10k achievement points and I foolishly thought I could play my rare-geared level 40 elementalist in AC. After being voted out of 5 groups without being given a chance (the few that didn’t explicitly say level 80 required), and spending an hour trying to start my own group, I gave up. In guild wars 2, the less challenging something is, the more rewarding it is.

The start of the living story is probably just a bad time for people to level alts in dungeons. I usually do a teaching run or join an all-level-welcome group, but I’m a bit burnt out with the world bosses today. Figured whoever is doing the dungeons today probably runs after the quick gold, not for casual enjoyment.

Sorry about your misfortune, but I cannot agree with your generalization of the whole dungeon community.

i hope your trolling… Arah is worse way worse. I level half my alt running AC explorable and i ran path 2 prior to ghost eater change as a lvl 35 in order to gain level up. Path 3 became a trollface while path 2 and 1 bosses where changed big time

They need to make collosus less of a weakling in the first place im disapointed because he used to actualy be the most dangerous of the 3 boss, ghosteater behing the faceroller and howling king standing between both. Only thing they made REALY harder is kholer because it used to be youd fight him alone and noobs would either die from the grab or the team would succeed now he spawns a tons of adds. Bet even today a good half of the community wouldnt have managed to take him down without dying painfully (god sake where is the dungeon community going).

I gain my level from ac explorable (eat that slap elitism) pugs and know what it works quite well when the party isnt made out of outright beginners who just wont listen to anything and want to play their way (i dont care about your build just do the fight the right way at least). If i aint running it on a lvl 60 im switching at end for the exp reward (because lets be honest i wouldnt waste my time in there if not for the exp reward) and then im done with it time to run it again.

Lvling from dungeon is soooo faster and more enjoyable then open world.
You dont want my lvl 60 in your team? Well theres a slight problem because 1 this is rarely a elitism group second i have 2 player with me at all time wich also runs for their alts or for their daily and comes from my guild so you better behave and play well and if you want things done your way youl have to prove your point first (in a reasonable manner, we dont mind people proposing option and solution long as they dont try to impose them) or leave and look somewhere else.

I play since headstart (and betas) and I remember that the dungeons were super duper hard. Everyone had problems. I just left them aside till I hit 80 and geared up with a pretty decent group of players through dungeon tokens. It was a fun time.

Now dungeons are trivial and boring. I have my dungeon master title since more than a year… And there are no additional dungeons added after nearly 1.5 year, WTF. Pretty bad for an MMO. At the moment I don’t play, since I am sick of this shallow Living Story crap.

Other then the most important istance that alone is almost as big as half the sum of the other istances you mean?

The first dungeon were completed by WWWGG and WWWWG parties…

So much changed since then………not.

Well if you were factually truthful they had 2 temp dungeons in there, one of them was even pretty good. The other was added as a replacement TA path, and they also added fractals of the mists which can’t really be called anything other than dungeons. There has even been new fractals added since those launched… yeah, stop being misleading about your gripes.
