Guild Wars 2

Hi, my friends an I are just starting running some dungeons and I think all together we’re an average or below average group. We can handle some of the easier paths of the other dungeons. We all like the CoE weapons, so we’d like to know the easiest path that we can try out and hopefully farm. Any tips for the bosses would also be welcome.

My guild and I personally like to run Front Door the most. I think its the easiest of them all and most interesting. Sub second.

Path 2 is the easiest but if hacking in path 1 wasn’t as annoying it would’ve been the easiest. Alpha is the hardest (by far) in path 3.

All are fairly similar IMO but if I had to call one the “easiest” I’d say it would have to be the sub path. Alpha is a cake walk as long as you stay within melee range on that path. Well, he’s cake on any path so long as you know how to dodge and stay within melee range.

CoE is way harder than the other dungeons besides Arah imo.
Sub path is “easier” than the others, since everyone can defeat Alpha in that one.
In fact most of the difficulty of the dungeon is alpha subject. Once you learn how to survive his attacks the dungeon becomes much easier.

i’m currently farming coe with pug groups, and imho path 1 (submarine) is the easiest.

hacking is really not an issue. kill the silver mobs, dodge the bombs, hack next stage..

2 is the medium path and path 3 (front door) is the hardest imho. esp the last fight where you have little room to dodge the constant deadly aoes from subject alpha.

I’ve done CoE quite a lot and I have full CoE gear now. The easiest path changes with the team really in my opinion. If you go with full ranged team and no one has got some good AoE healing, I’d say path 2 is easiest as you can dodge alphas attacks a lot easier on that one. If you got some elementaists/guardians etc and other AoE healing path 1 is definetly also easy if you go close range and use all you got of AoE healing.
On the alarm system on path 1 you can just set off 1st alarm and then defeat the big golems, and what we usually do after is that I (as a warrior) defend the others from exploding golems, while they turn off the alarm at same time, and then you just continue easy like that.

Anyways, path 3 is definetly the hardest path!
