Easiest explorable mode dungeon
Citadel of the Flame

4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
It’s also entirely possible to solo dungeons – Maybe not Citadel of Flame, though. Some dungeons have paths or mechanics that require multiple party members.
But Arah has been solo’d, I have personally solo’d CM, TA, and SE.
So duoing dungeons is definitely possible. Superior skill and teamwork can overcome a lot!

Thanks for the reply!
Is there any particular path in the three dungeons you mentioned that is easier than the other? CM was probably the hardest one for us to do, since the snipers and bombers gave us such a hard time.

CoF is by far the least time taking and still well rewarding dungeon. But even this is only, when people know what to do.
BUT, for if you are looking for dungeon to run with only 2, then I would easily say AC.
It can be done and have already done by 2 players and isn’t even that hard. You just need to know how to get past trash mobs.
I would suggest trying AC
Still reading this? You know there is something better to be done for sure. -.-’’

If you’re going with 2, AC path 2 would probably be easiest. If you’re going with 5, CoF path 1 would probably be easier.

You are still wrong. Taking 1 of the paths and using that as the standard to judge the entire dungeon is wrong.

I’m not speaking about only 1 path. I’m speaking about whole dungeon series. CoF 1-2 are extremely fast. Path 3 got just nerfed much and has no hard points anymore with those already mentioned good groups. In fact, currently the only reason why people won’t speedrun this too is the thing that path 1 is still so much faster that there is no need for anything else.

Depends on your profession composition!
CM exp seems to be most players boogeyman for beginner dungeons, but with good projectile blocking/reflecting skills and some practice, paths 1 and 3 becomes very easily run! I’d recommend CM path 3 (butler) as the easiest, since it lets you fight the shotgun guy in an open area, giving you more room to learn how to deal with him.
CM’s key is projectile blocking and reflecting.
For TA, the easiest path is “Up”. It’s short, sweet, to the point. Not a lot of bullkitten husks knocking you over. Forward → Forward is the second easiest, but Forward → Up is considered the hardest. For TA, the goal is to be watchful, the poison plants can be extremely hazardous if you don’t notice them in time, and even though it’s possible to rally off them – Going down period isn’t desirable.
TA’s key is staying watchful, and taking things at a steady pace. If you aren’t extremely knowledgeable about this dungeon, rushing it is a disaster that no amount of luck can really save you from.
SE I don’t remember that well, as I’ve only run it a few times. By far the easiest path to run would be Koptev’s! Koptev himself is a tank, I mean this mole is such a bro that he just doesn’t give a kitten Bosses? Mortars? He’ll just swagger through all of it. This path is dredge based, as opposed to Inquest, meaning you’ll be dealing with a fair mix of projectiles, melee and boon givers.
The key to SE is taking mobs in small groups, and not being afraid to retreat! If you can draw away a group of the dredge and kill 1-3 of them and retreat, then you can go back and repeat the process. This is vital considering their communist themes of supporting and covering each other with boons, knockdowns and dazes. Be careful not to get in over your head!
Don’t underestimate them because they’re mobs. If the average pug had the teamwork level of the dredge, we wouldn’t have all of these “dungeons are too hard, QQ” threads. Divide and conquer!

Wrong again.
P2 is not fast unless you have a good group. With a good group any dungeon is fast.
What made P3 slow wasn’t the beginning part, it was just the most frustrating part. Aside from that the dungeon still takes a long time.

As mentioned if you have good group it’s extremely easy and fast. I expect you to think that AC would be the easiest but it takes time for the NPC to run everywhere and think what they are doing, and after all they just bug out. IF they fix those npc work like npc in CoF it could be fastest dungeon.

You’re all wrong.
You’re all wrong.
How to be helpful. NOT
Maybe I’m mistaken, but when two people are going to try to duo some dungeons, I think that is pointless which of them are faster or where you can skip more trash for a better reward efficiency.
I would suggest starting with AC.
Path 1 is probably the best suited for a 2-man group.
Path 3 could be too class-dependant. There’s a “timed” event about destroying some burrows that can be difficult to duo if you lack direct damage or a skill that excels at destroying objects (like the elementalist ice bow).
Path 2 should be doable, but it’s the hardest one for a duo, harder probably than many paths in other dungeons.
CoF is a horrible suggestion.
Path 1 is probably undoable. Maybe there’s some trick, but i don’t see how to open the gate to the searing effigy with only two people.
Path 2 can be a pain in the kitten Some unchallenging parts like the bomb event or the final boss can be much harder or take much more time with that party size, but still doable i guess. Defending Magg can be pretty hard.
I haven’t done many Path 3 runs in the past, so I don’t know if the timimg allows one player to light 2 torches. If doesn’t, then it’s another undoable path for a duo; if possible, then path 3 would ironically be the “easiest” one.
