Guild Wars 2

I haven’t PvE’ed much in this game or any other tbh, but i am starting to enjoy it and do runs to CoF when im not in WvW.

Anyway, i was wanting to get a P/V/T armor set for my necro for WvW and i can’t find any except on the vendors for SE, AC and HotW.
So my question is, which would be the easiest to farm? Im unguilded atm so i would be looking for PUG groups to join. So im asking all you experienced PvE’ers what would be my best bet for both quickness and ease of finding a group.

I realise that you guys aint on my server “Desolation EU” but trends are usualy game wide and not just server to server.

I would recommend just using Badges if you WvW a lot for PTV.

However, dungeon wise, probably AC. Groups always run that

People used to do AC a lot before the dungeon change – but to me personally I don’t like the looks at all on any class for that gear.

In terms of “easiest” to farm or shortest it would probably be AC or HotW Path 1.

If by chance you have tons of Karma from your time in WvW, you could also get PVT gear from the God Temples.

I used all my badges decking my ranger out in full P/V/T before they became virtualy useless in anything but a trap / condition build.

@Kosmos , yes i have thousands of Karma points. I didnt realise you could buy P/T/V from the temples. Ill go take a look.

Another noob question, i hear people talking about rings and skins dropping. Does this happen in Dungeons or only in fractals?

Fastest/Most Efficient : Karma Vendors.

2nd Fastest/Most Efficient : SE P1/3 Runs on alts. (Path1 is fast, but must have reflects for one part or your team will die so I perfer p3 as it is more “anyclass”)

3rd Fastest: HotW/AC. HotW only has path1 thats fast, so its hard to get 60 tokens over and over since DR hits. AC takes ages and is difficult, but has 3 paths open to get tokens. Id go with choice 1/2, but if you must do choice 3.

-Or WvW badges like that guy said, but honestly these ways arent hard so I would save badges. From a person who doesnt WvW alot, badges arent easy to come by.

Just try each dungeon and see what you like best. Also if you don’t mind to mix and match you could get one part of armor from one dungeon and the other parts from another.

Also keep in mind that you can group up with EU players, no matter their world. Using gw2lfg.com usually gives you a full party relatively quickly.

The rings you are asking about are probably Ascended rings and the weapon skins the fractals weapon skins. So yes, they only drop in fractals.
