Easy solution to warrior elitism
But full zerker is excellent there as well.

You can faceroll AC and CoF without having to dodge, a lot less people are capable of dodging when it becomes necessary.
Well, we talked a lot about how we are not so fond of pure dps warriors and now they found a home where they can all gather and be useful! I think everyone should be happy.
Except pure dps anything works for all dungeons as they currently stand.

But you need stability for effigy ;p
If you read the forum the last few days, you’d think that the only way you can get a dungeon group is to be a warrior in full berserker gear. Here is an easy solution to solve that problem if you feel you are being discriminated against for not being a warrior:
Go do something other than AC or CoF.
The other dungeons are not that bad if you give them a try! Most people have played long enough to be able to tell from your rants that you were doing CoF or AC. Because while warriors do a lot of damage, the mechanics of other dungeons will typically make people think twice before facerolling through it with 100-blades.
The reason you run into so many unpleasant people in these dungeons is because they are easy, the lowest common denominator. Nothing good ever comes out of that. Go do some other dungeons, experience helpful players and dungeons with better mechanics.
I generally agree. The issue isn’t with Warrior/Mesmer zerker groups, the issue is how easy it is to roll right through CoF 1 and AC. People then figured out, hey we can go full glasscannon and go through this in a few mins.
People are trying to say Warriors are OP because that’s all they see needed on CoF1 for example, but its just that they are arguably most efficient at farming THAT dungeon path.
If you want to get away from it, run FotM and other dungeons. If you want to farm CoF or AC, roll a warrior and Mesmer and level him up or make your own group w/o class requirements.

Change boss mechanics.
Put three bosses for last boss in p1, all three are immune to something.
You will need to separate all 3 from each other, as when all 3 come together hell is unleashed.
Each boss requires a certain damage class and are immune to certain classes.
No more all warrior groups.
This was just an example of a good boss mechanic.
I don’t think it is about certain classes, its the bosses that are too easy to kill.

Giving CoF 1 the CM treatment would seem to be the obvious solution.
Don’t call it Warrior Elitism, please.
Do you even lift, bro?
I have a better solution.
Stop worrying about what others do, stop whining when not every group will take you. Join the groups that will or actually make your own group. These people who are whining about this are the ones who spent 2 minutes trying to get a cof group, found one that wanted zerker warriors, and then went straight to the forums to cry.

With the recent GW2 Dev Livestream, they commented on how they’re considering on adding a new mechanic where mobs are resistant to AoE damage. They could also implement other damage types too, so it would hopefully encourage more diversity when it comes to dungeons.
This is the same thing as the “Guardians are OP in Fractals, ohmagerd” argument.
These easy dungeons are a “best case scenario” for Warriors in these builds. The problem is the dungeon encounters, not the Warrior profession. You need more threatening mechanics that put pressure on them, and things to force them to have more diverse builds.
The most efficient way to play as a team has always been is to bring only as much Support as you need, (the bare minimum) and then bring as much damage as possible.
And to be quite honest, I prefer the “Zerk Warrior Elitism” attitude over the Magic Find Leech.

OP that is not a solution. That’s avoiding/ignoring the problem. Will you start doing other things again when they move on to other dungeons due to a change in either CoF or AC?
I guess I dont understand why people are so offended by warriors facerolling CoF p1 to there hearts content and being elitists about it. Anybody can make a group for p1 and just say “not speed run!” on lfg. Having said that there are sooo many bosses in the game that are just HP sponges and warriors rule yet again but that doesn’t bother me either. I think Anet watches and new content wont have as many of those. I’ve been wrong before though

Making a monster immune to certain classes isn’t a good mechanic. You can make it reflect projectiles or cure conditions almost instantly, but making it immune to a class is a bad idea.

More like an example of the worst boss mechanic I’ve ever heard of. Immune to certain classes, really?
Damage types sure, classes is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Hey guys, we can’t beat this dungeon because we don’t have a necro or thief.

Arah p4 says hi
People refuse certain classes in other dungeons as well you know. :P It might not be as bad but it certainly does happen.
The easy solution would be to not give the class with the highest base HP and toughness the insane damage it has while being the easiest class to play.

A ’zerker Warrior is as flimsy as a Thief.
Perhaps you should roll one and try it out.

Join a guild or start you own group, I don’t even look at the class when sending invites, seriously whats the worse that can happen in cof
