Scep/focus might stack or staff dps. Which build is preferred in an average pug running zerker with little synergy.

At the moment I tend to run scep might stack if might is low and use staff otherwise. However I’ve seen people in this forum saying how much they hate seeing a scep ele in fractals ect and am unsure if I’m using the correct approach.

Whats your guys opinions?

Okay here’s the thing if you have a team with very little coordination S/D (in my experience) is very difficult to survive on (S/F is better but more annoying to use). Now that’s if your using LH, like you should be. If you aren’t using LH but wana stack might/use ice bow 5 S/F is the way to go, imo. Staff is better off but I would only use it if you already have might stacking from another source. Now my personal fav for survivablity is D/F but some bosses are much more risky to melee so its nice to have choices.

D/F for fractals. The only logical choice.

Get an engi or two keep him immob’d, and max melee with LW (which is pretty far) ?

Just max melee it and camp lightning whip like a scrub. Its easy that way. :P

And yeah LW is 300 range.

Does cripple + backpedal still work? He’s kind of a joke. Like his girlfriend Mai.

edit: kinda tired. meant mainly second fight where he’s more docile.

He’ll still leap onto your face and swirl his projectiles… of course you can dodge but that’s like half the fight right there anyways.

Yep. Or even better: cripple + run sideways. It’s automatic, even for the first fight.

Actually going d/f on archie is easier than staff.

Yep. Or even better: cripple + run sideways. It’s automatic, even for the first fight.

meh, I’m lazy. I just let Rocky facetank him and 1111 from behind. Also, I make sure to immobilize him well so that he doesn’t turn around and leap on to my face.

The reason I have swapped to staff lately is because folks in my group are either chicken (panic run too much) or poorly supporting (no one cleanses the weakness on me when it is ready to burst him). So I mainly just staff while strafing around the kitten aoe.
