Maybe this is a bug, maybe this is a feature, don’t know.

We were 4 guildies and 1 pug doing CM explorable path 1. The pug stood around most of the time. When he wasn’t afk he called us noobs. Then later he called us noobs, went outside to afk, we followed him, did a votekick, and the entire party was kicked out.

What’s going on?

Was the PUG the first one to enter the dungeon (you can tell who entered first by watching who shows up in the cutscenes)? If so, then that one is technically the leader, and if you boot the leader, the whole party gets booted out. It’s rather annoying. Hopefully, that issue will be looked into. At the mean time, ensure that one of your guildmates or someone you truly trust enters the dungeon first.

And if that person (first to enter) happens to have a real-life emergency or his internet connection drops just before the last boss, everyone in the party has just wasted all their time in exchange for zero tokens.

This is a very ugly bug that Arena Net has been aware of for a long time, and yet they still chose to change dungeons to withhold all tokens until the last boss instead of giving people ate least some tokens after they defeat each boss.

Whoever made that decision clearly doesn’t play MMOs, or thinks that the real “achievement” worthy of reward is simply being present when the last boss dies, not actually doing all the work required to get there…
