The week after, can’t stay on my feet worth a kitten . Same raid party, same healer. Getting 2-3 shot by single red orbs and taking damage when moving to other colors during the split phase when my specific boss is down.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Orbs 2-3 shotting any of the dps classes is normal, that’s why you have people like engis playing pinball throughout the fight. Taking damage has always occured, you get ~5k ticks as a dps class, having the correct attunement for a boss reduces it to ~25%, as soon as you move into another colours ring you will take full damage since you can’t reattune.
Yes I experience this, yes I also avoid most of this and work around the mechanics.
Yeah, I’ve seen seeker’s crit for 8k on squishies. Always fun when a seeker spawns right on top of the green circle, since it spawns with a few seconds of invulnerability but can still attack you
Combine that with teleport traps appearing right on top of the circle and said traps occasionally seemingly spawning invisibly makes it feel like succesfully clearing VG is almost pure RNG (once your group has the mechanics and the right gear down that is).
Ok. Not about the damage, but the CC bar now is gone after 15 seconds even if you keep the breakbar, no CC… Before it was like 60 seconds, i can’t see the change in the notes, anyone can confirm? Bug or ninja change.

Probably fixed to make you actually play the mechanic instead of cheesing.
it hurts have to admit and worse if 3 heading to green circle at the same time. dodge out and dodge back in. also use some skills to negate damage if not push them away.
