I just noticed more and more people do this in my guild, and i always see p1 sellers (usualy thief) on the LFG….
Would be nice use the bann hammer again!

Why do you think they’re exploiting?

I saw one of them doing a barrel roll avoiding all damage. Never seen hack like that before.

Makeing under 8 min. I dont think that is legal run.
Also one of them made whit lv 15 thief.

Also how does doing a solo fast have to do with exploiting? The only way you can really tell if they are is if they include “last boss 1%” in the message and/or see that spider queen was skipped.

If they’re missing the waypoint at the Archive room where the ‘Defend Hodgins from gravelings’ event is at, it is also a dead giveaway that it is an exploited run. That’s usually the first thing I notice whenever I see people selling AC p1.

That’s strange I would have thought it’s gone down since they patched the normal way of getting out of bounds. Now in order to exploit P1 you have to use a third party program. Also OP are you sure they’re exploiting you could dou and have your buddy leave before the boss.

You clearly don’t need a third party program to exploit into ac. I’m tracking these things for science and I’ve seen people do it by teleporting out of bounds like before.

You can have a legit p1 solo with thief but most of them just get out of bounds

Of course i am not sure, i am not a dev and cant track them.
What i can only see is my guild mate:
He make it alone.
He make it fast.
He can sell it whit 1% boss.
And he is not that skilled player. I played whit him other dungeon and guild events.

And he is not the only one who do this. Just logged in. there was 2 seller for 1,5 and 2g.

If you suspect they are cheating, you can always ask how they are doing those runs so fast, and report them in-game. But starting a thread complining about it doesn’t really give anyone much to go on to do an investigation. Also if you were to post their names here, it would result in an infraction against yourself, and getting this thread closed.

He has same acc, i remember not seeing him ingame for quite a while, he confessed to me that he made a pretty nice sum of gold out of it but has stopped because devs join AC paths quite often to see if it’s legit or not and bann the sellers (which doesn’t make any sense to me, why bann if the exploit is well known for really long time and still they didn’t fix it therefore they punish the players for not fixing their mistake? But i’m not getting into that)

The point is, they can also bann you for joining a hacked path. So be careful. Make sure the dungeon is legit. And it’s quite simple, if the mobs aren’t cleared out past the first door, it’s done via glitch, so just leave.

Personally i dislike AC and i never buy dungeons because i’m too broke for that, but this is usually done within seconds (i asked him and he explained to me), thats why it’s so popular, if you hack it and sell it for a gold per person, you can make up to 50 gold per hour. But they will probablly ban you so please don’t.

What is this? the 3 strike rule? I find it incredibly funny that your buddy got caught not once, but twice for exploiting…. and he still gets to play.

We’re supposed to give them " a second chance". Meh, I’ve seen people hijack dozens of runs, and they took something like a 72h ban. I’m sure the gold/ hour ratio is worth 3 days not playing, so here’s the new dungeon meta.

You pay 1 gold and seconds after joining you get that gold back plus 60 tokens. It’s not about being easy it’s about being lazy.

Unfortunately nothing will happen. They will use the bug, they will got the money.
My guild members make this since weeks, they did not even get a 24 hour warning bann.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Teleport + flying + speed hacks are actually getting pretty common. It’s sad how many people I have seen/been told of using them these days.

Did you enjoy farming 60 tomes per character? Looks like quite a lot of pvp to me.

IMO, people who don’t want to run dungeons but want to level should just buy them.

That way, they aren’t in pugs slowing things down and having a bad attitude.

(Note that I’m talking about people that don’t want to run them, not people that are just inexp but want to learn. Those are more than welcome in my pugs).

As for tomes of knowledge…I’m loving that they’re part of dailies now. At this rate I won’t even need to level my next toon at all \o/

Sitting on a free lvl 80 char now, just trying to decide what to make it.

Mines gonna be an engi. I have some gems left over from a server transfer to get another slot, just waiting until I get bored again and feel like learning a new class

So yup with 2 engi’s, only combo I’m missing is male human and female charr too. So, it’s going to be a male human whatever it is. Not sure what it’ll be yet though. I was thinking warrior, but I don’t really like the profession, but all my other professions I already love the ones I have.

Edit: Btw Engi is great, if there is some hole in the group you can fill it, if not you get to do your full dps rotation and IMO it’s the most fun DPS rotation out there, the only one that can compare is the D/F Ele Rotation on Zehyn’s guide(sorry if I spelled that wrong).

It`s actually true that the amount of these ac p1 exploiters is increasing!
I`ve been soloing AC P3 for a while now (therefore I know whats going on on the AC-LFG), and I guess these exploiters show up since December….There weren`t that many AC sellers before, but now even AC P3 is overfarmed, which I don`t care about. But allowing exploiters to keep going and even give them a second chance? While they earn 30g+/h without ANY skills? NO WAY!!!

Btw: even warriors seem be able to exploit ac p1. I know that because I whitnessed how a dude (warr) was “soloing” and putting his lfg with 1% boss on the LFG with no more than 10-15 min between the runs.

But I also should mention that a-net staff(Security Lead) actually does read (some) reports and take actions. There is a guy who harassed me a bit, after ahving reported him via a CS ticket with evidence, he had to take a 72h break. I got also said that if he did it again, there would be abit more of punishment. Luckily he stoppen.

Might be overwriting memory to teleport, too. Some folks go all in when they cheat.
