Elemental slaying, dodge the arrows, always group up and prioritize aoe bombing instead of panicking and running away/shutting off DPS that WILL wipe you. It’s a very easy encounter even at high levels if the group works together. If you split DPS or don’t aoe enough, or don’t blast water fields or lay heals for your group or use a reflect skill to safely rez someone, you fail in this fractal.
Not every encounter can be brute forced. This is one of them.
Like obal said, final boss is considered elemental. Tbh carrying around pots for this single encounter seems like a waste.
As the potions also work against the elementals the boss spawns and they give up to +10% outgoing damage / -10% incoming damange to / from the specific creature types I don’t see why it would not be worth carrying the potions around. Why would one not want to use all available tools in the shed to get a job done?
Like the others said, elemental slaying potion and also the dodge food that gives 40% endurance regen is quite nice to have for that fractal

Jees Troll, have you ever consider not everyone can solo tank him like a boss(i.e. Trollhammer.7439.)
If you have a player that is really good at dodging and knows what they are doing, have him/her tank the boss face away from the party and make the party stay 900+ range him.
I suppose Powerful Potion of Elemental Slaying will help greatly in this case if group AoE dps is low and your character build doesn’t require other food buff.
A good group set up will also help in this case.
